turns out it's pretty easy to lose weight if you just stop snacking and drinking alcohol. who knew?

Its not hard if you go slow. The real difficulty is losing weight quickly.

its very easy if you can get an honest idea of how much youre eating and you just eat less than that, only consuming calories during meals helps that happen yes

since the wine is transmuted upon consumption it is actually just extra protein, so you are fine.

Damn, if only I could drink less alcohol than none.

What’s your height? Because unless you have a chiselled face and sub 12% you’re still a bit off buddy

I dunno. I will do the doses as recommended. .25 for a month then .5 for a month. We'll see where we stand at that point in time.

Lost 40lbs in 40 days when I quit drinking alcohol, 4-6 tall boys a day for 2.5 years and drinking malt liquor/beer everyday for 2 years before that, and nobody here believes me. All claimed I used PEDs and sheeeit

alcohol is shit, I don’t understand society’s obsession with it. I’m not some straight edge freak either, I’ve done drugs and smoked and drank before but I hate alcohol now and will only touch it if it involves women

>Bro is 3 weeks in and already announcing victory

beating bad habits and addiction happens over motnhs and years. Even the most gluttonous people can hold on for a few weeks because they see the immediate progress and get high on the endorphin rush initially

but once it becomes your new normal and no longer exciting is when you fall off the wagon

A successful weight loss journey, to me anyway, is measured as keeping the weight off for years, not months or weeks

With that being said its a dick move to say all this as if to discourage you. What you better do is to keep going, and to keep it off, it is very much achievable. Just dont get too cocky at the start, the work is just beginning. When you start to feel the mundanity of a lifestyle change you have to tell your brain "fuck you" and keep going. It will play tricks on you

People dont believe you because to lose that amount of weight means you must have been eating
>0 food per day
>running 10 miles a day
OR
>eating 1200 calories a day
>running a marathon (23 mile) EVERY DAY

A normal person would die from malnutrition and exhaustion doing that level of exercise and eating no food every day. In other words you must have had 20 litres of fluid in your abdomen from end stage liver disease that drained when you quit or youre full of shit

>I don’t understand society’s obsession with it
Honest to god, its a social lubricant. As someone who drank heavily in college, it was only appealing for parties/hanging out with people IRL/etc. If there was no hanging out, it did nothing but just....made you feel drunk. which wasn't that amazing. But it works amazingly well at helping you relax and have fun socially. That's what its for.
I think society rapidly moved away from IRL hangouts/parties and its 90% online interactions, so drinking rates have dropped because of it. In my 30s and I don't hang out with anyone online, its basically all IRL, and drinking is still fun as hell for that, but I hate drinking alone (did it out of boredom, wasn't worth the hangovers).
I did every drug under the sun in college and no shit I think alcohol in a social setting > opioids = amphetamines >> alcohol alone for me.

Oh, you care. You care, alright. You read my post (probably with the help of text to speech), got triggered, and thought of a reply to write to me! Not ONLY did you get triggered and care, you solved a PUZZLE bro, to be able to express your feelings to me because, again, you care.
Apologize.
