Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 1g per lb of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and burn fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body burning away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

Drink your calories (alcohol, soda, starbucks).

it doesn't have to be strict. your body isn't stupid. There have been a few studies showing that you can go up to 200-300 calories a day and still get 99% of the benefits of fasting. That doesn't mean you should go and eat food or drink a glass of milk, but you're fine to put cream in your coffee or drink tea with honey.

scale has been creeping up. changing tactics to cope with it. meal prep, cardio, and a new calorie limit. i'm going to eat my goal weight TDEE (or up to 500 below that) and burn bonus calories running. this plan is foolproof. got a food scale. did a diet test run this week. it's going to be eggs, ground turkey, lots of veggies, lean meats, and nonfat or skim milk with shredded wheat. that's it. might get some carbs from salad dressing but i think most days i'm going to do lemon juice and olive oil for dressing. i only gained 2-3lbs but we've got to reverse course now- i'm going down not up.

i'd say go ahead and go to failure again if you aren't sore but others would say you should let your muscles rest and focus on different muscles the next day for maximum gains. if you're new, you're going to get gains no matter what you do as long as it's consistent. keep it up. you'll notice improvements in your physique in just a few weeks. in a few months, other people will start to notice and make comments on it.

i'd say make sure you're doing the lifts correctly with the appropriate amount of weight and to actual failure.
you should suffer to get in the last rep not just

12 reps is the max. not 12 reps and done but you should suffer to get the 12th rep and if you can do more you need to increase the weight.
when you lift, you should feel the target muscles contracting. if you can't, lower the weight until you can. the lift isn't to get the weight from point A to point B but to feel the muscle squeeze.
take 6 seconds to do each rep to feel and focus on the contraction.
i'm telling you all this because i discovered i have no mind-muscle connection with my front delt when i stalled at 55lbs dumbbell overhead press for 2 years.
i can do 20lbs strict side raise for reps but can barely do 3 reps of front raise with 10lbs.

I have been trying to lose weight for at least 3 years now, 21, No father figure that taught me discipline, Last year I managed to go from 130kg to 113kg (that's 286lbs to 250lbs) fasting.
Still I realise that most of my free time is binging on bad habits like videogames, porn and junk food, due to my studies I managed to control my videogame addition but every day I eat at least some junk food and in the weekends I usually binge like a fucking monster spending +30€ of neetbux in slop.
I can't bring myself to do useful stuff around the house, even cleaning is hard for me. How could I get off my bad habits? I have the usual addict mentality of "this will be my last time" and then I fuck it up again, everytime.
I know I need to create new habits to replace the old harmful ones but as soon as I get comfortable I immediatelly indulge in hentai or junk food.
I am at a dead end here, I want to recover myself while i'm still young, also I planned on doing millitary service after losing weight to discipline myself one way or the other. Any help appreciated.

Making chicken soup out of whole chicken is an option. That way you're really not wasting anything since the bones make the broth more flavorful. You can also easily get rid of the fat in the soup once chilled in the fridge since it just floats to the top and solidifies. No need to get rid of delicious skin.

It's not too bad. At the very worst you could honestly just cut up veggies and potatoes willy nilly, toss it into a pot with the chicken, fill it up with stock, chuck some salt in there and wait till everything in there is soft and cooked. Boiling it raw is fine as long as you use broth and not water (it'll leach the flavor otherwise), then take it out afterwards and shred it. That way it'll basically taste the same as everything else in the soup. For maximum taste points though, quarter the chicken and then broil in the oven until brown and then scrape everything including the browned bits back into the soup.

You're essentially creating homemade broth at that point. I'm intimately aware of this because for the longest time, using water instead of broth is how my mom would make soup and I used to think I hated soup until I made it with broth only.
