you need some sort of grain with them to get all amino acids
they lack micronutrients you need that meat contains
they are mostly carbohydrates, not dense protein
eat it if you want but don't rely on just beans that's dumb and vegan
if you are poor and that's your best option, add some onions or bell peppers for vitamin c or you will develop scurvy

cool thankyou.
i can't make a thread
>IP range banned
but for some reason i can post here ???
so i will ask my questions here:

if the food pyramid is a lie, wat do?

what do i eat now? if you reject the carbs and re-invent the food pyramid, what should it look like? and give me an example of what YOU eat.
what about beans? and nuts, are nuts healthy fat or not?

>give me an example of what YOU eat.
Protein + carb + vegetable (get enough fats from the protein source and little bit of evoo or butter on the veg)

1/2 cup of green lentils, minced garlic, and a whole chopped onion is a very delicious soup on its own. using “Better than Bouillon” soup stock (i use roasted vegetable flavor) means it can all come together in 30 minutes even. i add other seasonings as well and i can eat the entire pot throughout the day everyday for weeks and still enjoy it.

bro what to it is up to your lifestyle. carbohydrates are not the devil, simply energy. if you life, you need a lot of protein. how much depends on your height, weight, activity level, and so on. eat whole foods, not processed stuff. think about how your ethnic ancestors ate before big bread, that's probably the most healthy for you but i'm not a scientism priest so do your own research.

i eat ground meat, canned fish, eggs, yoghurt, lentils, beans, rice, vegetables (many), fruits, nuts, oats, dark chocolate, 90% whole foods
