Hey guys I wanted to come here primarily to say this:
I noticed more solid chest gains from doing primarily upper chest work and dips than when I was benching 285. Incline barbell press and flies and weighted dips just about all I do for chest. I don't do like hundred fucking exercises for everything or all these sets I just train to max intensity with weights I can handle for 10-15 reps and I do pyramid sets I do a light intensity set then a moderate intensity set and then an all out to failure set. Sometimes it's one set because I just go to absolute failure I can't even do one more. Nowadays I been doing two or one sets and I've noticed incredible gains in vascularity definition leanness and muscle gain. The weight on the bar is irrelevant to me it's the results which come from it whatever the exercise or equipment used. It's all practical to me and if somebody got that machine or whatever I need I do a different exercise. Sometimes I will push to four or six sets but rarely that level of volume affects recovery
Note: here that's like last week so yea I'm carrying a lot of extra bodyfat right now I had a bad breakup and just got sloppy but I was really shredded but I'm gonna get more shredded.
But in shirts and real life I swear my gains have been way better since I stopped caring about what weight I use. My routine is really minimal now and I like how Dorian Yates trained and Mike Mentzer.
Hope you guys having a solid Friday night I felt tempted to drink tonight cause of all the shit I'm going through but I didn't thankfully not yet knock on wood. That's also affecting shit I gotta change.
