Just found out fat cells are for life
according to the current science fatcells will split and multiply once they are filled and although they shrink during a deficit they never truly go away and will continue to signal hunger in a never ending crusade to fill themselves back up with stored energy. am i truly destined to either be a fat cunt or permanently hungry forever?

fat cells are for life yes, but they can shrink down to absolutely nothing visible to the naked eye

it is true the more fat cells you have the more hunger you will have because every individual fat cell sends hunger signal to be refilled again

but these can be overcome over time and by eating the right foods

if you rely entirely on CICO/IIFYM and eat junk food for most of you calories/macros, you'll always be hungry, yes

but if you actually eat a nutrient dense foods and completely cut out all the junk, the extra hunger signals ur brain is sent will not have anywhere near the same effect as they have when youre always eating junk food

anyways, hunger is barely real. just pop a zyn or my favorite drink carbonated water (i mix mine with fresh lemon juice if its a lucky day or fresh date juice if its an unlucky day for the ph balancing effects.)

From my experience, that just means you shouldn't do long bulk/cut cycles since cutting for longer than two months feels absolutely miserable. Basically, do one long and awful cut to get you to low bf and then manage your bulk carefully from that point onwards so you never have to go through that ordeal again.

I'd also add that one thing that helps a lot is volume eating. Work in a bunch of low calorie foods, vegetables are amazing for this.

Yeah cause unless you're a horse you can't get any calories out of leafy greens. Stuff like tomatoes or carrots aren't as good, though still better than processed sugary slop.

Also, those puffed up rice cakes. They make you feel like you're eating but there's barely 40 calories in the whole pack, it's mostly empty air.

I used to be impulsive then I got a chronic illness that makes me extremely uncomfortable all the time. And everything else like eating well and good fitness habits (when I can) are like peanuts in motivation in comparison to not KYS'ing myself because that day I suddenly can't feel my hands and idk if it's gonna come back or whatever.

Anyway, idk dude, you will legit die one day, do you really wanna spend your existence as a fatty? Is dying a fatty better than living life suffering a bit but not being fat?

The hardest step to take is the first one. it gets easier when you get used to it and also when you got results. BUT by that point, it shouldn't even matter to you

Mine isn't quite to this level but I get really bad acid reflux when I eat anything. It's getting better though. However, it's made staying within my deficit a breeze lmao. Turns out I'd rather eat 1-1.5k calories a day than worsen my perpetually sore throat.
It's all a mind game, physical factors can make it easier or harder to play that game, but at the end of the day the mind determines the outcome.

The good news is, muscle fiber cells basically act the same way. Outside of enhanced bullshit once you build muscle it pretty much never really goes away. That’s why muscle memory works so well

They aren't for life, you lose an amount of them each year and they are replaced by new ones if your bodyfat is high enough or they aren't replaced at all if you have low bf%.
You just want everything to happen instantly.
And the hunger signals are not as bad as you make it out be when you're 12%bf, even if you were 30%bf previously for years.

pretty sure this was disproven. The mechanisms by which fat cells atrophy, apoptose and proliferate are pretty well studied.

Chronic-long term weight loss and maintenance actually lead to a reduction in the number of adipocytes and the result is chiefly done by proper regulation of growth factors (endocrine stimulus, metabolic surplus). Meaning, if you manage your meals, hunger-fullness cycle and reduce your total caloric intake OR increase your BMR by building muscle mass, over time fat cells will deplete in number.

Overfeeding suppresses ghrelin and insulin, which are key regulators of fat cell proliferation. Feeding imbalances which grow over years also take years to get rid of, etc.

Basically just get lean anyway because there is no reason not to, then just stay lean. Simple as.
