>day 9 no nicotine
Goddamn I miss those suckers so much. All I want is to pop one right now. How are you holding up, fellow ex-addicts?
Anonymous No.76815753 [Report]
Probably over the 2 week mark. My last can was weak as shit (3* velo) they felt like nothing I think it may have broken my reinforcement loop. I have felt no cravings and my hair may or may not be looking thicker (I see a lot of baby hairs maybe it's placebo don't know don't care).

I hated the pouches, I swear I had bits of my gums just rolling around in my mouth after 5 minutes with one of these bastards.
Smoked for 7 years, vaped Juul type shit for 3 years then finally cold turkey quit. Godspeed anons this one is a bitch.

I'm a smoker. I think next time I attempt to quit I will try nicotine patches for a month or so. I've gone cold turkey before and I can handle it but I always relapse eventually.

Love me a good Zyn in the morning with coffee.
Hang in there brother, you do feel overall healthier when you stop completely so it's worth it.
I only reserve Zyn for social occasions / the weekends.
And I only do 3mgs on the weekends like a faggot.

It took me 2 months to stop thinking about vaping every day. Now after 5 I'm feeling pretty comfy and glad I did it.

I just hit the three month mark since i quit after using them for 7 years. The withdrawals were insane, on day two i was so ill i stopped seeing colors, i swear you would think i'd been on heroin not nicotine.
After you get over the initial severe withdrawals where your body literally needs it to be normal, you're gonna see a few weeks of urge. You need to have the mental to not buy any, and it's gonna be really annoying but very worth it.
I don't have any urges left now. For the first time in many years i sleep really well, i used to think i had insomnia but quitting nicotine fixed it. I'm also much less anxious, and i'm more motivated to work out and do things in general. I feel so good all the time now compared to when i used nicotine it's insane.
Good luck OP, if you manage to beat this you're gonna be so grateful to yourself, it's the best choice i've ever made.

Its been about 4 months after going cold turkey and I can actually say no when my friends offer to let me hit the vape now
Anonymous No.76816232 [Report]
Current addict, just trying to cut my use down now. I stopped bringing my vape on walks and bought a lock box to at least stop using it 4 hours before bed. I do like having it in the mornings and while driving more than I want to quit.

It's been about 6 months from me. I have the occasional ciggy when I'm drinking, but that is very rare. I miss it bro, but the benefits of not being addicted to something grossly outweigh the negatives

9 months free from snus and nicotine pouches.
My saviour in this was nicotine free pouches, took them for a couple of months to simulate the sensation of taking a regular one to help cope with the loss of nicotine. Now i take nothing, thank fucking christ.

Ayo hol up - I thought nicotine on it's own was supposed to be good? Will it not help you boost test and improve mental focus?
Anonymous No.76816554 [Report]
>>76816532
In moderation. It's too easy to lose control with pouches. I'll probably go back to smoking a cigarette or two a day down the line. Abusing nicotine fucks your circulation (it's the opposite of cialis/minoxidil) fucks with your diet, sleep, and makes you dependent so you're using it to return to the baseline rather than get a boost, it's also a huge waste of time since it's quite enjoyable on its own.
Anonymous No.76816579 [Report]
ill maybe do one a week, do it, then think will that was a shitty experience and dont have any urge to do it for awhile. I know once you get over that hump its pretty pleasant, i also did this with cigs recently, except i got over the hump and it was real nice. I had to throw my pack in the garbage so i wouldn't get the urge to do smoke

I always thought it was too, but apparently if you abuse it like the weak-willed retards in this thread it's bad. I feel pretty goood after a Zyn but I only use a pouch or two per week.

How do you guys get addicted to these things? Just stop putting them in your mouth. I use about 3 of these a month (ALP, not Zyn). If you're tired every day just sleep more instead of getting addicted to nicotine like a retard.

Why is your test low and why is your mental focus bad? Work on those 2 things first before starting nicotine.

Smoker for 10 years then switch to nic nacs, nicotine lozenges, for 4-5 months. Last time I had any nicotine was in the spring. I never think about smoking or wanting a cigarette unless I see someone smoking then I instantly crave one. I hope that goes away eventually.

How is this even much worse than caffeine? Im sure ingesting it by smoking or gums is just inherently bad because youre getting a buzz without eating it since your stomach is a much more resilient organ.

Ya know like the only reason people smoke anything is because it uses less of the drug, eating weed to get high would cost me a solid 10gs of weed.

For your motivation.
I was addicted to pouches for 5 years. August last year I tried pack of smokes for the first time. 1.5 months later I was diagnosed with seminoma. I went through surgery and chemotherapy for 5 months. With diagnosis I ended the consumption of nicotine pouches.

I have been nicotine free for one entire year because nicotine products surely contribute to the cause of cancer.

Caffeine has no positive effects once you're an addict. You take it to not feel sleepy. Nicotine will still give you a buzz if you keep increasing the dose which pouches/vapes allow you to do. It's not like coffee or even like cigarettes.
Anonymous No.76818201 [Report]

>because nicotine products surely
How old are you?
What else were you using during this time?
What was your diet and lifestyle like?
Where do you live?
There are a lot of factors that contribute to cancer, nicotene is not linked to testicular cancer in anyway and most cancers linked to nicotene products are due to other factors and ingredients, not the drug itself. Call me big nicotene because I don't believe that nicotene itself has anything to do with your or any other diagnoses of cancer.

>How is this even much worse than caffeine?
Because with prolonged use it permanently fucks up your brain's dopamine functions, like all hard stimulants. Also makes you look older.

i was smoking three years and i hated it but couldn't quit, which is fucked up because i had quit smoking for almost 20 years before i started again and it was easy then. but i picked up a puck of velo instead of smokes one day, that was 7 months ago and i haven't had a smoke since that day. not even the slightest urge.

If I could quit Swedish snus after 13 years of non-stop use (including during sleep), you can also quit these gay little pouches

Switched to nicotine pouches from smoking. Already once quit smoking for couple of years but retardedly started again. At least these pouches are way healthier compared to breathing in smoke all day and tarring my lungs. Might have to try to stop using these soon tho, going to see if stores sell nicotine free pouches and try them out and see if I could just taper myself off using those.

>not even the slightest urge.
Sometimes drunk I do get an urge for a smoke, but the times I do smoke I regret it since smoking really tastes bad after for me now days so Its really been a while since my last smoke
