How does the Choice program work on Aliexpress? It says it'll take 10 days to even start shipping to the US, so I'm assuming they pallet up a whole bunch of orders during that timeframe, and then ship it off to the US in one go to minimize tariffs. Then it's separated and sent off to the buyers once it's within the borders
>>105517955i think that's it. they use ali preferred distro warehouses and chartered cargo planes to rush it to your city with other "choice" items
Anyone know a decent quality allen key set? Prices seem vary alot and I got the sneaking suspicion that it's all the same weapons grade chinesium.
>>105517996i always recommend the same with tools, go at least to the second cheaper price tier, not the chepaest one
>>105517955That date is bullshit. It is usually shipped in 1-3 days. They just say it might take ten so you cant complain if it does.
>>105518137It's already been 5. Maybe they'll ship it out faster if a certain region has enough orders to fill the pallet quickly. It makes sense they'll try to bulk ship as much as possible during the years of the orange taco
>>105518196are you american? it makes sense there's going to be delays due to increased costs and less people buying

I must consoom from the source.
My birthday is coming up in less than a month. I've asked one of my family members for this and I'm pretty sure they're getting it for me, Since they sent me a screenshot of the AliExpress page asking me if it was the color I wanted.
Pretty excited. Haven't owned a watch since I was like 14.
>>105520160>everything is chinkshit anywaysindeed laowai. we consoom the pure shit
>>105520207I'm hoping it'll make you happy anon.
I've thought about how to phrase it without potentially ruining your fun, but I've read some pretty mediocre/bad reviews of that specific type of clone. If you're lucky there's different types of clones and it was just some cheaper copy that had the bad reviews, and even if not if you haven't owned a watch in a long time it may still be nice, if nothing else for the novelty of it.
Just know that should this one not last very long you can get pretty decent watches for not too much more than that, be it digital, analog quartz, manual or automatic.
>>105521039It's alright. It's a gift so I'm not out anything if it sucks.
>>105521081True, and my guess is your appreciation of it comes from the form and styling, not the actual functionality part, so you might still be very happy with it. I'm wishing you the best, maybe it turns out great - give us a review when you have it.
>>105521095We'll do. Thanks for the sunny disposition and kind words.
>>105519505I've bought a few, but just went with whatever was cheapest. They aren't as strong as the expensive ones you get from reputable Western suppliers, but the price difference is significant and they are still powerful enough for most uses. The main annoyance is that they generally don't make super small ones like 1mm wide. If they did, they would probably be too weak even for my purpose (which is holding bits of plastic model kits together). If you are only supporting light plastic components and the magnets themselves can be in contact or only separated by paper-thin layers, you should be fine. Otherwise, I would recommend not risking it and just ordering some proper ones from a good supplier.

i bought springs to repair a thing. they were much better quality than expected.
i measured the broken original. i went with the high side measurements to compensate for cheap shit.
well it turns out the original was cheap shit. the replacements are much sturdier.
it's just a garden hose nozzle but now i'm concerned the stronger spring could eventually crack the plastic.
the original is approximately 1.25mm to 1.50mm diameter. some where in between that.
so I went with 1.50. probably their 1.25 diameter spring would've been more than enough.

so "stainless steel" is some kind of chinesium stainless steel
i can't magnetize it with a (de)magneizer
i don't know what that means, is there an metallurgy anon here?
>>105529167I asked the robots.
> Sometimes, if 304 stainless steel is cold-worked (for instance, through bending, rolling, or welding), part of its microstructure can transform into martensite, which is ferromagnetic. Even so, the overall behavior often remains that of a magnetic โyesโ when a magnet is nearby but โnoโ when you try to permanently magnetize it using a magnetizer. In contrast, ferromagnetic metals (like many low-carbon steels or ferritic stainless steels such as 430) would not only be attracted to magnets but also retain a level of permanent magnetism when magnetized.> Thus, if your metal is sticking to magnets only weakly and doesnโt become permanently magnetized with a magnetizer, it is completely consistent with typical 304 stainless steel behavior. If you were expecting an entirely โnon-magneticโ response, know that almost all metalsโeven those intended to be nonmagneticโcan exhibit some induced magnetism when exposed to strong magnetic fields.> In short, based on your description, you most likely have 304 stainless steel that is exhibiting its normal paramagnetic (or very weak induced ferromagnetic) behavior rather than having a completely different composition.thank you AI bot future
>>105529167spring steel wont be "regular" stainless steel, i would even say you usually dont use stainless steel at all.
301 can be considered as spring steel, and according to mcmaster
>Wear-Resistant Multipurpose Stainless Steel (Type 301)>Commonly used for fasteners and springs, this chromium-nickel (austenitic) stainless steel offers better wear resistance and fatigue strength than Type 304. It also has good weldability and maintains corrosion resistance up to 1550ยฐ F. May be slightly magnetic. Not heat treatable>>105529294that is 304, which is the most common kind but there are magnetic stainless steels, only the austenitic ones arent magnetic

My point was moreso that other than the dailies progress is slow and not worth it.
You sound young(er) so if you want to make some money and need flexible work hours, consider shit like fiver or Etsy, there's still a bit you can make there if you have either marketable skills or the wisdom to find a good niche (for Etsy). Fiver is a race to the bottom with third worders who are willing to slave for pennies, so you need some higher skilled labor capabilities for it to be worth it.
If you're a student at a uni, take a walk through the buildings there, usually on the ground floor there's flyers for odd-jobs all over, and uni jobs tend to pay okay for the effort (and come with super flexible working times). A lot of easy stuff like categorizing survey results, helping with secretary-tier work and cleaning up shitty datasets. If you have some coding skills there's a lot of that too, especially in the non-CS faculties you'll often find people desperate to find someone to write them a simple driver or helper program to Format and read measurement data and shit.
The usual low skilled labor jobs also exist and most of them are searching desperately, but they tend to require fixed working hours which is hard to fit into a schedule plus they are extremely soul sucking usually.

It's supposed to be the "better" version of the one in your picture. I never expected it to be good but it's hilariously bad, even if you find the sweetspot where the center of the picture is sort of sharp the edges are very blurry. Spent over 100 bongbucks on chinkshit from temu. Mostly clothing. Only got chinked a few times, some surprisingly good stuff.
Starting off with a few sweaters.
Two with a 'mesh' design, which allows rapid cooling when you open your jacket but still insulate when covered by a less open layer. Both pretty good, size as advertised, no obvious flaws in manufacturing.

A more conventional one. The texture difference between colour areas is less than I hoped, and it's the usual chinese thickness (i.e. ultra-light) but the material feels better than expected. It actually feels like wool, not acrylic yarn. Not going to burn/melt it to confirm, but if synthetic it's a very soft one. Sizing is fine.

Some very stylish shorts for the gym. Thin but OK material. Stitching is quick overlocking on everything but no loose ends or other signs of really shitty work.
https://share.temu.com/jqjhYTYtHTA
A weird late-night impulse buy: full-body stocking. Photos on site apparently taken with an ultra-small model, as maximum stretch is about 60cm circumference. May have some use, but mostly a waste of money but that's more due to it being a stupid buy than actual manufacturing quality.
https://share.temu.com/HFNvhtlknkA
Poncho. Seems a little thin, but print quality is good and has decent poppers, grommets, etc. Hood opening slightly tight, but hood itself is an OK size. May need some waterproofing treatment, but will test it without first.
https://share.temu.com/CND5wOY2G6A
Lightweight jacket. Incredibly thin, and significantly undersized. Fortunately I ordered much larger than my actual size because I wanted a baggy look. More of a well-fitted look in the end, but at least it is wearable. Not sure how much weather protection it will offer, but may function with layering.

>>105543167'Neck gaiter'. Essentially a small infinity scarf / thin snood. Poor quality, due to unfinished edges. Will fray like crazy unless I stitch it. Hopefully my sewing machine is still working.

Folding clipboard. Actually seems shockingly solid. Plastic pen clip fell off in transit and seems worthless, but NBD as you can simply use the normal method of jamming one under the clip and I prefer to keep my pens in my pockets anyway.

'Camel hair' socks. Purchased for novelty value. Fairly sure they are synthetic, but don't feel too bad.
https://share.temu.com/gKb4UORQxYA
Thick polyester socks. Seem OK for synthetics.
https://share.temu.com/TG1xjb62XVA
Sheet fasteners. My thick mattress keeps making fitted sheets slip off, hopefully these will help. Seem solid but not yet tested.
https://share.temu.com/2cAPtb0wOTA
Weird wearable bag. Somewhat surprised that it actually fits around my 46" chest. Straps are a little short for wearing it as a cross-body bag, but overall pretty good. Construction has no real flaws, but it's a very lightweight item with the usual fast-and-loose chinese stitching so probably not up to much hard use.
https://share.temu.com/WKEzHilZpDA
Small zip-up bag. Shockingly well-made. Really nice stitching, quality print, very good for the price.
https://share.temu.com/uU3oceCtb4A
Plastic boxes. Both seem made by the same manufacturer. Flimsy plastic, with surprisingly solid-seeming catches. Most similar boxes I bought in the UK were much more solid but always broke at the catches, so maybe a worthwhile compromise. Certainly seem adequate for most hobby storage and the price is competitive.
https://share.temu.com/GlMuLmkHINA
https://share.temu.com/gtZPHOERWwA
Small cushion. Planning to use it as a knee-pillow while sleeping. Seems OK, but wouldn't trust it as a pet pillow (as it is advertised) since god-knows what shitty toxic crap chang will use as filler.

nigga are you for real
So, I'm trying to do a CPU socket replacement
What would I need and can I source all of that stuff from Aliexpress and friends without going too high in budget?
Any specific models and advice welcome.
No BGA station, I know I do not need that for a CPU socket, but from a few hours of research I need a board preheater (not sure at all what I need), hot air station (looking mostly at the 858D right now unless you have a better idea), a big square / rectangle nozzle (since I'm looking at a couple LGA1700 boards, thing I've found what i need already), some fairly liquid flux (AMtech NC-559 is looking like what I want for now), some heat resistant yellow tape (I know the Ali stuff ios okay for that use so I just need to find one that come in larger strips), some aluminium foil (probably don't need Ali on that one), a stand for that hot air gun (found a couple but unsure if you could fit the 858D on them) so that I don't have to hold the fucking thing for 10 minutes.
I'm not looking at being a pro but I do have a few dead mobo and a few of those with the only issue being dead sockets (let's just say my training to repair bent LGA pins started rough and one board in particular I killed all but one memory slot trying to "better fix it"), so I'm looking at mostly trying myself at a new skill so long as I don't need to spend several thousand $k to even start.
>>105542830Thank you anon. I guess I'll wait a week for the summer sale then. Will these same codes remain applicable or will there be new ones?
>>105540554>>105540268>>105540209funnily enough my impression of the projector was the same, that it was "just ok". for the price you get a bt/wifi enabled projector which has low contrast and brightness but it's lightweight and relatively quiet and has touchstone where you can project at an angle and then adjust the picture to be rectangular
i compared it to an NEC 10 year old bulb projector and that blows this out of the water in every regard other than size, power and cost
once again i default to my view that normal people don't know what they should be getting because the reviews say that it's excellent but after using it for a few mins i know that it's really "just ok"

I want to buy a tablet that can play 4K 60FPS video without dropping frames. The display resolution doesn't actually matter I just want the video to play without issue.
Will the Xiaomi Pad 2 do this? Or is there a better option?
>>105548483>Will the Xiaomi Pad 2 do thisIt will not. G100 has 2K@30FPS playback in specs.
So what's the deal with screen protectors? I need a tempered glass one. Is it all the same shit or are there some that are actually worse than others?
>>105548483>60fpsgonna need one of the newer processors for that. even the snapdragon 7s gen2 on all the mid range tabs can't play it
maybe try an older ipad pro

maybe there's more but if that's it then it's worthless
>>105548222If you paid $60 when the switch 1 was released, then you should be able to pa $80 today.
>>105548838If you have a decent phone you don't need one. Decent phone screen glass has 6-7 hardness. If its gonna get scratched/shattered by something there's nothing a cheap screen protector can do
>>105549106it was a genuine question about the quality of the console and its games, I didn't mean to poke you
>>105549237I'm not that anon and I don't even have a switch 2. I'm just tired of people who don't understand inflation.
>>105549215One of the most notorious phone scratchers are dust particles/sand in your pocket. How is a screen protector not protecting your screen in that case? Yes, the protector might get scratched. But the screen underneath will remain protected.
>>105549479you understand that wages can't keep up with inflation right?
>>105549495>sand in your pocketAre you Dale?
>>105549106>>105549479nta x2, but you'll also have to factor in real wages, interest rates and all that good stuff as well if we're going to talk about inflation
>>105545330The yellow tape you're looking for is called kapton tape and there's listings up to 50mm wide on Ali. I would probably pick up some solder wick as well in order to clean up the pads after removing the dead socket. Also pick up a fat screwdriver, chisel, or well tip for your iron; you will want something with good thermal mass since a MOBO will act as a heatsink (obviously get a soldering iron if you don't already have one, you can use wick with a hot air station but you'd have a way easier time with an iron).
>>105549215oh it's not for a phone
>>105548222It's fine. I wouldn't really say it's worth $80 for 1 game, nah. I don't see myself paying that really.
I got the MK bundle so it didn't cost much more, but if MK itself was $80 I'm skipping it, even if I'm having fun with the game
It's tough though because Nintendo games don't really drop in price so if you want to play them you don't have much of a choice. I just figured I'd be getting it at some point anyway

does temu have any real advantages over Ali?
>>105552048At this point, not really.
They used to have really great bonuses to get people to their platform, but now most of those are meh.
Other than that it depends where you live. I very rarely find cheaper stuff on temu for very generic items, but other anons seem to have very different experiences, so depending on where you live it might be better or not.
>>105552048Allows you to narrow your search by category, which can be handy if you want something in a specific colour, or your search terms are bringing up too many items which don't match (e.g. you want to buy some LEDs, but searching for LED gives you LED flashlights, etc.). On the other hand, Ali actually lets you use more than two words in searches without shitting the bed.
Price you see is generally price you pay, because everything is in the free shipping if you buy enough category. On the other hand, not hard to just select free shipping on Ali and their threshold for it is lower.
It's a side-grade at best, but sometimes the prices are better for specific items or there are items which are only available (or findable) on specific sites.
Generally speaking, quality seems about the same, prices fairly similar, and customer service basically identical (i.e. no problem if your issue can be resolved by algorithm, highly dependent on the individual chink's english language skills otherwise). Delivery time doesn't seem to differ. Temu has slightly less wasteful packaging if you care about that.
I like to shop for clothing on Temu because the search works better for that. Gadgets are generally easier to find on Ali. Often worth checking both for price comparison.

what can i expect from a 30 euro keyboard like this
i assume those are not cherry switches but knockoffs, are they still likely to be good?
>>105538302Anyone have any advice about cheap MP3 players that are compatible with Rockbox available on aliexpress?
>>105552546No one uses cherry switches anymore. There are better switches made by other companies; and worse, of course. These are of the latter kind, most likely. But if you are not a keyboard nerd -- and it is safe to assume you aren't -- you won't know the difference.
What to expect? A Keyboard. Probably wouldn't sound exquisite -- no case, no damping, no foam, nothing. May feel a bit flimsy -- again, no case. Layout is a preference, I don't like that one, but it's not me who's going to type on it. But what the fuck is that Fn placement?
Don't install software if it asks you and you'll be fine.
You can probably get something better from ali or so for about the same price, but you have to speak to keyboard nerds about that.
>>105552691i see, thanks, i'm not a keyboard nerd and amazon is easy with returns so i'll just try it and see
how do returns on aliexpress work? is it easy?
>no caseby case you don't mean something to carry around the keyboard with but something the keys are embedded in? is that important?
i'm actually willing to probably spend tripple that just looking for a qwerty tenkeyless keyboard probably with blue switches
i would ask in the keyboard general but nobody bothered to make one
Bought a life size doll off Ali in an instance of temporary insanity.
She is soft, squishy and very heavy.
>>105552835>how do returns on aliexpress work? is it easy? You pay shipping back to China, the rest is easy. Unless thing is broken and you're in EU (I think), then they will give you a return label.
>by case you don't mean something to carry around the keyboard with but something the keys are embedded in? is that important? By case I mean the housing, something that covers the internals of the keyboard. Here's mine. As you can see -- well, actually you can't see switches poking out. It's not necessary, but it adds a bit of structural rigidity (not required, it's a keyboard and not a car) and alters typing sound (for nerds).

>>105548395No photos, put away most things already, but I describe what I've got, grouped by my interests:
>3d printingVacuum bags for filament. You know the kind if you print. Ten of them, came with a humidity cards and a plastic thing to lock them securely; but no giant ziplock to keep them in like previous ones. Look the same as previous ones I had, so quality wise they're probably similar. Hold vacuum alright, or not at all.
LED strip for the printer. I have A1 Mini, and light on that thing is absolutely anemic; it might as well not be there at all. This strip has nine LEDs, has to be glued on the x-axis and activated by a photosensor that covers original light, so can be controlled the same way stock one does.
>cyclingMini Electric pump. Seems pretty decent quality-wise, LOUD AS FUCK, has all the adapters included. Yet to test it, but I have faith in it.
Did not test yet:
Tubeless repair kit -- hard to fuck up that one, it's a pointy stick with a handle.
CO2 pump -- again, hard to mess it. A thread, a valve and that's it. Never used one, but now I moved to tubeless it might come in handy.
Tire pressure gauge -- it is designed for cars, but I'm sure I have an adapter somewhere. Should help since small pump doesn't have one built-in.
>pc peripheralsTwo 1m Type-C cables -- those are intended for my keyboard that I have at work. Cheap plain white cable, nothing more, nothing less. I wish it was slightly more flexible, but there's no way to know that while ordering. Not that bad.
Switch tester acrylic plates -- I have a ton of random loose switches from test sets that for some reason came without a plate, so are useless. Now I can put them in the plate and actually test.
2x3.5mm -> 1x3.5mm (4 pole) cable -- my audio interface has separate mic in and audio out; and headset I was looking at has a single TRRS jack. This cable would resolve that.
>>105553656>miscBelt(?) clip zip tie holder -- I have my doubts it will hold them too well, but we'll see
Safety bungee cord carabiner -- you're meant to tie it around the wrist and put some tool you really don't want lost on the other end, so when you let it go, it doesn't disappear in the bottomless pit. No idea why exactly I ordered it, I had some plans when I did, can't remember them now. Strange.
Toy (nerf) gun -- had to pad bundle deal with something, chose this double-barrel sawn-off. Looks fun, shoots for about 10m (parabolic), came with 20 darts and looks like a Borderlands gun due to being white-orange-green. Having fun as we speak.
>>105553646You'd be surprised how little people care about stuff like that. It's also what makes me feel really uneasy when eating over at someone's place. Most put absolutely no fucking thought into what could possibly go wrong when cheaping out on kitchen shit.
>>105553737I remember a scandal several years ago where a machine in a food processing plant was lubricated with a non-food-safe oil. And that's the stuff that they catch in Europe. >>105553785typical retard take.
it's about probabilities.
if you buy kitchen shit directly from china without anyone checking that shit, it's almost guaranteed that shit will be as cost reduced as possible with whatever chemicals on it that get the shit done.
when you buy it from some store (not amazon) locally, they (usually) put higher effort in checking and controlling the shit they sell because their reputation is at stake. also, lawyers are really keen on dealing with local shops if they fuck up and don't check their shit. there's big money in that.
this doesn't mean that you're perfectly safe and could never get fucked with locally bought shit but again, the probability is way lower.
>>105548517>>105548847Thank you for the info, I was hoping I had waited long enough that 4K support would be a given on mid-range tablets. I also didn't know that looking up the CPU would have those specs, it's usually completely absent on specification pages for the device itself.
>>105553883>typical retard take. You keep buying your stuff anon.

What other sites besides Aliexpress/baba are out there, or, how do I enhance my bootleg-fu to find bootleg manufacturers? I'm trying to track down bootleg Digimon devices, because I want to dissasemble one and work out how they work without ripping my own limited edition ones apart to do it. I'd rather work directly with the manufacturer so I can buy a bunch just in case I break them in the process. Ideally they'd come from the same factory as the originals.
>>105558298>I'd rather work directly with the manufacturerYou do realize that would require you to buy 100s, if not 1000s at the time, right?
>>105558327I could always sell the excess or give them out as gifts. Though, I've bought from alibaba before and some manufacturers will do lower amounts, and sometimes its just cheaper to buy the bigger bulk amounts. I just cant find bootlegs for this on there
>>105558238That's how I usually sleep during winter and I'm still alive. You'd have to live in pic related for that to be dangerous
>>105558354nta but just how many of these fucking things are you expecting to need to break before you "work out how they work"?
Why not just buy a genuine one from ebay or whatever and take care when disassembling it?
taobao/1688 would be my only other suggestion but regardless you're always gambling since it's unlikely the company making legit Digimon devices wants to get caught selling 'bootleg' ones to some rando online.
>>105552854I hope you don't get fit of shame and end up hacking it to bits.
>>105558136thanks, I don't mind paying a bit extra for the light sensor since it's its coolest feature. I'll take a look at the buildplates too, I wouldn't mind being able to keep lower bed temperatures and I'm thinking about trying to print PC
>>105554102He's right though, stuff sold in brick and mortar shops will be more controlled and safer than what you buy direct from China.
>>105556352>pic unrelatedNow I'm interested. Also, can you buy Adafruit stuff from Aliexpress or not?
>>105557615I did the same for cheaper than 60$, used an MH-Z19C, useful doc at https://revspace.nl/MH-Z19B
>>105557165another mitu for my collection
>>105558910IIRC, that's the exact same sensor I used
>>105558910I don't think you can buy Adafruit stuff, but pretty sure you can find clones/equivalents there.
>>105538121what do you expect from the $30 projectors, they are pretty good for that price. i really like my $200 wanbo x5
>>105559343looks like he bought a $60 one
the biggest issue with these new LED projectors is the brightness. my 720p projector is not bad on a 50" projected image but it quickly loses clarity and color the further it gets
>>105557210>as for duolingo, you can get a cracked ad-free version with revanced manager or build your own with itI'll have to look into that - if it's usable in such a way that you don't notice it's cracked then I'll install that for my parents. The brainrot they expose themselves to with those ads can't be good for them.
>>105558744Brick and mortar shops will, "western" brands do spend some of their middleman profits on QA and safety inspections. Even then most of it will be the same, but if you blindly pick a random item, then fair enough, it's safer. But the shit you see on amazon? There's no brick and mortar shops for that, that's just a dropshipper who is sending you the same shit except now it costs 5x more.
>>105555664>a game the devs actually bothered to finish and bugtestye that's nintendo games
>a game that actually came on the storage deviceagain nintendo games, the ones on gamekey card are third party games
>a game that didn't also require me to pay for an "upgrade" that consists of fixing the shitty performance and resolution on a new console when homebrew shows it can be done for freeyou also get the advantages of switch 1 overclocking on switch 2 for free though, games with no update or patch running better on switch 2 are already documented. Not that i agree with the paid patches, especially given some games got free patches that in some cases do just as much
>and didn't want me to pay a subscription to use my own internet.true, i blame tards paying for xbox live for that
>aiiiieeee tendie alert!!!!i'm just saying it how it is, not my fault you have to act like a sperg cause red company did <thing> blue company or green company also did. In time you'll learn to not give your money to anyone and be a true idort
>>105557258>I don't have it optimally set up either which is the exact reason I wanted it to be small and portableIf you have it set up at an angle and then you're using software to adjust it then you're going to get blur yeah. it should be clear in the centre at least though so that's what I find a bit strange. Blurry on the sides is inevitable unless you have it dead on but even then it shouldn't be abhorrently bad. Maybe the small+portable ones make a lot of compromises.
>>105555635How do I know the good from the shit on AliExpress?
And what's the deal with anti-glare? Some advertise it, some don't. I can't imagine it does nothing but then I wonder if it's some coating that makes the screen look like shit
>>105551776jej
>>105559343I expect to be able to clearly see more than 40% of the picture lmao
>>105559787I tried at multiple angles and distances, keystone correction off, the blur is there and too distracting to ignore. I read the setup guides lmao
>Maybe the small+portable ones make a lot of compromises. They do and that's probably fine for most chink shit enjoyers, just not me.
>>105559940Fair enough. I'm just surprised because I've tried cheap ass projectors and 40% clarity isn't an issue I had with any of them. Blurry edges, yes. Shitty resolution, sure. Shitty speakers, check. But just unfixable blur? Can't say I've come across it
Not that I'm doubting you or anything kek, like I said just surprised
>>105560114Just to put a pin in it, for anyone looking for a $80 projector I would recommend it but for anyone looking for a projector I wouldn't recommend it.
>>105557553The highest I've measured is 1500-1600 ppm.
Probably much over 2000 and you are dying. Thougbeit slowly.
>>105560339What's that, anon? What are you so excited about?
>>105517996these work great for me.
>>105561661Did you try them with a lot of torque? Can you estimate how much?
>>105561684I would not know about torque.
but one of the large ones I used to secure a bike stand leg thing and the metal washer under the bolt split. so I guess quite a bit?

>>105561938normal wrench $1, "bike" wrench $4 lmao what a scam.
>>105553094For some reason Ali shipping is expensive as fuck. I'm talking about 80-100$ shipping on 20-30$ item. I'm using Temo cuz of that even tho its more expensive
>>105562102>i don't know what a pedal wrench is
>>105517815 (OP)Should I buy this to fix my neck problems?
Can you customize which e-mails ali sends you? It's nice to know when they shipped your order, but it feels like they send you one every fucking step of the shipping process.
>>105564133definitely. should be some communication / notification settings tab
I'll post some of my favorite recent pickups from AliExpress.
This nose hair trimmer was like 2,50 Euro when I bought it last week. Put some machine oil on it to make it move smoother and it's super nice compared to scissors.
>>105564133>>105564144No, you can only turn on/off all order related e-mails.
>>105552854H-how does she feel to cuddle?
a-a-asking for a friend, of course.
>>105564174It was 1 Euro actually, 2,50 is the current price without ChoiceDeals. It seems everything increases about 80-150% in price after you revisit a listing a few days later.
These Zigbee and Philips Hue compatible EWELINK LED bulbs are phenomenal. An original Philips Hue bulb is like 30-40 Euro a pop, but these EWELINK ones work just as well and were only like 2,50 Euro last week. I've had four of them since last week and they all worked fine until now.
I did also get a generic "Zigbee Smart Lightbulb" with an E27 fitting, but that constantly loses connection to the Hue bridge, so I got a refund.
The e27 Ewelink ones all seem to work well though, so I ordered a few more.
>>105561938>crank puller>spoke wrenchAnon, sorry, but those are shit. I would know, I used the same ones. Be very careful, they can fuck up your bike. And next time take a look at icetoolz. Not crazy expensive, but very good quality.
>>105564222This authentic Bandai SD Gundam kit was insane value for just 12 Euro. I also picked up an SD Sinanju, but the Unicorn was more fun to build imo.
>>105564244I needed a glass file for the model kits, so I bought this 8-pack and gave like 4 to my mom. I used one on my pinky nail and now it's super shiny and reflective, kinda funny.
>>105564266This hand drill + drill bits for 1,50 Euro was a steal. I needed one to fix a broken joint on one of my robot figures.
I bought some better quality drill bits though, but the ones that came with it aren't trash either
>>105564284It took me a while to find a decent bicycle multi tool with a chain splitter, but this one arrived the other day and it feels solid. It was 4,70 Euro when I bought it, would recommend.
>>105564309This headphone mount is awesome. Attached to my IKEA shelf with adhesive so it doesn't take up any space on the shelf's surface. Looks very clean IRL, and only 1 Euro.
>remove okay parking diamonds game
>keep the absolute hell called shelves
chinks come on
>>105562102like I said, bundles
>>105564391https://a.aliexpress.com/_EGguB7k
Here's a picture I took with the kit fully assembled. I messed up the sticker on one of the antlers though
also check out my cat in the background
>>105564446This is a great cat, anon. Impressive, very nice.
>>105564242what's wrong with them?
>not crazy expensivesurely, you can't be serious
>>105564266yeah these files are real good. some goons sell them X10 the price on Amazon
>>105562102cassette wrench needs to be slimmer so it fits between the gears, so a regular wrench usually won't fit.
Here's another great tool I got a while ago. It's a little brush to clean out the draining at the back of the inside of your fridge.
If you get water pooling at the bottom of your fridge this hole is likely clogged.
While you're at it it's a good idea to also dust the evaporator coils behind your fridge to make it run more efficiently.
>>105564457>what's wrong with them?Very soft metal, not very precise cuts. They can round your spoke nipples.
>you can't be seriousI am. Park Tool or Unior will sell you one (1) wrench for that price.
Maybe take a look at Topeak, they should be cheaper while still decent quality.
Good cheap chinkoid controller for pc to bug during summer sale? I was thinking about the gamesaar Nova Lite but i'm open to other stuff
>>105559940you might have gotten a defective unit, did you look at the pictures other customers took
>>105564813they're all fine afaik. gamesir, 8bitdo, flydigi, etc. just get whatever has features you want at good price
got some epic shit during the last months but ain't sharing, hehe fuck you .
>>105564813I have the nova lite and especially for the price it's quite good. The only thing you should consider is that it has a rather small battery. No issue if you don't mind charging after each session (realistically more like 2-3) but if that bothers you, a bigger battery is worth it. I've done unemployed gaming marathon sessions with friends and it handled those so I don't care, but it's worth considering.
Are you ready for summer, /csg/?
>anons going outside
>>105566184I always worry that shades that don't have the CE logo or whatever might do more harm than good. I read somewhere that some cheap sunglasses don't filter UV light, but only darken the image you perceive, relaxing your eyes and letting more damaging radiation reach your retina when without them you would have squinted.
Maybe that's bullshit though, idk.
>>105566387UVC has a hard time getting through any plastic, so the most damaging part of the spectrum will be stopped by even cheap materials. UVA and UVB can still cause some damage though, so you may want to invest in some UV test cards, which are pretty cheap.
>>105566584Tool (should be 4.70 Euro, but now listed as 6 something)
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EIvg59C
Hand drill with the higher quality bits should be 2.70, but now 3.70 Euro
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJOxrMe
I don't know why the prices always increase after the first order, maybe I bought them via "Combo Blast" or whatever that mode in the app is called where you can't exit without losing your entire shopping cart. Stuff seems to be way cheaper that way though. If you can't find the cheaper prices, maybe download the app and try searching within that mode.
Pic related is a pretty cool dog toy my cat loves. Cat toys are usually too flimsy for him as he plays pretty rough, so these smaller dog toys are perfect.
This is my all time favorite wallet. Been using these for about 10 years now. They feel much more comfortable in your front pocket than the metal ones (like Ridge Wallet) as they're soft and lighter weight. It's also easier to access your cards, as you can just pull on the little strap and everything slides out the wallet easily.
I lost one running after a bus a few years ago, and ordered some extras so I'll always have replacements should they ever stop making these. Can't recommend them enough.
>>105566863That's probably okay for a cat but I would never give that to a dog. Rope can kill them if they eat a big enough piece.
Captcha: YMYGSD
>>105567048Damn, I never knew and had a dog for 14 years growing up.
Can it twist and tie their intestines or something?
>>105567326>Can it twist and tie their intestines or something?Yeah, a long piece can act kind of like a drawstring. Though even if it doesn't harm them, poop ropes aren't fun either.
It's not so bad if it's just a tug toy that they aren't allowed to chew up.
>>105566473what are the chances of getting double chinked if you buy the cards on ali
>buy OnePlus 12 5G in February last year

>use backup LG Velvet til I get around to getting it fixed
>Local shop wants $300, OnePlus wants to keep my phone for a month.
I'm a fat klutzy tard. I'm over it. Buying a dirt cheap chink phone next week and recycling this piece of shit.
why are you idiots using EUR in ali. USD is always cheaper unless your card has like 5% conversion fee

my fun conspiracy theory is that chinese mail centers donk and dink the package a few times to keep resellers in check
>>105568653Ordered a new mouse from ali about a month ago (atackshark r1, not a big gamer, so can't tell anything on techs in it, but didn't like the shape at all), and look at how it arrived. Cable was banging around in the bag somewhere, not even in the box anymore. Mouse itself survived without a scratch tho.

though they were all from EU warehouses.
>>105568690I was planning on buying that or the panda brand
>>105569324Maybe you'll like it more. I actually got three cheap mice to test shapes -- my beloved Roccat Kone Air Pro is discontinued, so I'm looking for potential replacements for when it inevitably dies.
Attack Shark R1 shape didn't fit me. But I must admit that the included charging cable is hands down the best I've had. So soft and flexible, you can use this mouse wired/while charging as freely as in wireless mode.
Ajazz AJ179 is not that bad, not bad at all.
VXE R1 I'm still yet to try -- giving every one of them a week and a half of use before moving to the next one.
