I don't know man... Waterfox maybe? They've gone independent again.
But seriously, every day I notice that the Gecko engine is struggling more and more with webpages. It's harder to recommend Gecko based browsers anymore. Specially if you want stuff to "just work". Chromium seems to have won.
I've been trying other browsers and so far my two options are Edge (because it comes already installed in Windows, stil supports mv2 uBO, performance is good for the most part which I'm a junky for) and Brave (the native Adblocker is amazing if you set it to 'aggresive' and has lots of optional extra filters included that make browsing a lot less annoying, and comparing it to other browsers I've tested it seems the least annoying to work with). Both browsers are bloated to hell and back but you can take a couple minutes to disable the junk in both. Overall I feel like Brave is the better of the two but I don't like having two chromiums in the same machine. I guess if Microsoft pushes mv3 too then I'll fully switch from Edge, also their new UI is full of rounded cancer.
I don't want to talk more abour Brave because anons will go "hurr durr shill".
Idk I accept more recommendations too.

The main issue is that Firefox is the only non-chrome mainstream browser on windows or linux.

On macOS you still have Safari what works flawless with Adblock solutions like Wipr or Adguard. (and ublock is coming later this year too).

If you have no Mac you have to stick with chromium or firefox. Nothing else. And Ladybirds focus is currently on unix like OSs like macOS or Linux.

I have an embarrassing issue with Firefox that I need help to resolve.
When I hover over the Firefox icon on my task bar, each tab that I have open, regardless of windows, is displayed as a thumbnail. Incognito Firefox works normally, where thumbnails are only windows.
How do I get regular Firefox to only display windows as thumbnails?

What's pissing me off about Librewolf is after a while it lags very briefly while scrolling, then the tabs are "frozen", and I can't click the currently open tabs off. I can open new ones, and right click on tabs and close all either side, but I can't close them.
