One is a 3050 so I can casually game and have 2 monitors and because it was on sale. The other one is a Tesla P4 accelerator, which let's me do nifty little things with CUDA programming and local AI.

Put a drawer to the right of your desk, store the microscope in it to keep it from getting dusty/knocked off the desk. Get a headphones holder or banana hanger and put it on there, to avoid your headphones from resting on the monitor whilst not in use. Also put a houseplant there, breaks the dark mood of the corner.

Put a nice rug under your feet, really pays off in the winter. Get a lamp with warm light for indirect light in the room.

If you're willing to spend more, swap the desk and chair for something nicer.

insanely fucking good for what it is. I cannot recommend it enough if you are just dipping your toes in. Even if you have other gear its a good buy. Its just an extremely capable little fucker. Im a full eurorack autist + other synths and whatnot and i constantly end up going back to it for one reason or another. My main computer on the floor so you don't see it on the pic, but it's running OpenSUSE Tumbleweed and it's connected to the right monitor, and the middle monitor is connected both to the iMac 5K which is my second computer and to the main PC as well.

I'm starting to get a feel for doing /bst/ things again. I don't have any plants at all any longer. Might get into it since apartment is pretty much designed for it.

I'm trying to finally set up all of my old consoles after a long time, but I have no furniture for it and my CRT has terrible burn-in (thanks for a shit seller on eBay). I'm trying to pick out something to set up like 10 consoles, but I've been having a hard time.
I have a desk in the top of my room and I want to put my CRT and other shit to the right of it on its own separate open book-shelf/TV stand, but due to my room being small, it might seem like a safer option to just buy one of those double sided desks.
Pic rel is my room and the small CRT is where I want to put my stuff. The shelf is about 3 feet wide and 2 feet long.
I can also use any advice on decorations, anime posters, tech shit, anything to spice it up!

What changed? Why did people start paying for what was being given away?
