Sound just stopped working on my windows 10 desktop.
not muted, speakers working and up to date etc.
Windows updated yesterday.
I can't get sound from any youtube video or audio stream.
Bizarrely though, I can hear text-to-speech extension on my browser, but not audios from videos.

torubleshooter found no issues, audio testing the speakers works.
Just no audio from streaming - Odysee, youtube, a random audio stream on an article...
system sounds and TTS work fine.
WTF microsoft

it was the browser. for some reason now all tabs are muted by default. Vivaldi.
