what are some good checkpoints or loras that can create indoor/outdoor scenes?
I tried SD/Pony/IL but it cannot make a regular room without many artifacts.
I also tried img2img which for some reason just sucks in comfyui. And I also tried controlnet with canny/depth and some sketches i made but again, it failed.
The models on civitai barely look passable...
Any ideas?

Try SwarmUI, it's uncomfy squeezed into a more comfy, linear "workflow" like you'd see in other webuis. Noodles are there for you to mess around in the background if you need them.

looks like you need to work on your technique. pony for example is notoriously bad at backgrounds, so that model would really not be your best choice for a that sort of thing. if you want help, post something that helps us understand what you are aiming for. img2img in comfy works flawlessly and so do the various controlnets. so yeah, drop an image of your 'vision' and a screencap of your workflow.

I don't think loras can help all that much with inconsitencies. At some point we're just running into limitations of a given model's parameter count I'm afraid. Even when someone manages to squeeze extra out of smaller models, we're probably speaking full training territory. Aren't loras more of a surface level addition afterall?

As I said, I don't know how it's programmed, but I'm sure they have their reasons. This isn't exclusive to Comfy. There are many programs that deal with processing/encoding/etc and don't kill the process immediately. You could always post on a feature request on Comfy's github, and I'm sure you'll get several people telling you why you're retarded.

Sure, the most probable reason is: it's a low level architectural change that is a problem to add to ComfyUI since its probably a monolithic backend that doesn't spawn workers for inference but does everything in one place, all the while it's a QoL feature (aka low priority that wont ever be added unless a hundred people cry about it on github)

In ComfyUI, I have a folder with past generated images, and a current workflow I like.
I want to automate loading all of the past images in specific folders into the workflow, and only for their positive prompt to be taken and used in the current workflow, generating a new image one by one for each image in the past images folder.

What's the easiest way to do this?

ask claude to write a script that dumps all the exif data for all your images, and then send it to /prompt with the JSON of the workflow you want but with the prompt from the extracted metadata of the image

this is how i would do it, and it would take 30 minutes of v!becoding with Kilo Code on Visual Studio Code

if you have less than 50 past images I'd suggest just doing it manually lol

dude I just did it for pic related lol. open dev tools in chrome go to the network tab and look at the requests you make to the server when you write /prompt
if its all the same old workflow in past images it should be really easy. otherwise if you can remember a common negative word that isn't common in positive prompts e.g. "bad", just look for any node in the JSON with inputs.text that doesnt look neggy and filter for that

If you'd like to learn a little something, what you're asking for is not much more than a basic Todo app that every web developer learns how to make. I have no idea how to start learning that stuff in 2025 but you could probably learn enough to make this with the help of claude and actual discipline and focus in a couple of weekends
