i think i'll be able to run vae decode+encode for sd v1, sd xl and flux, also t5-xxl and clip variants all from a single 3090 at home,
i only need like 1gb vram each per model for vae encode, 1.3gb for decode, for up to 1024x1024, anything larger will be tiled
hopefully some people will pay for it, imo its worth it because you can free up your local resources for other stuff or just iterate faster because you dont need to keep offloading, there will be free tier anyway, and maybe a16z or something will give me money
eventually i'd want to support like clip image encoders, and pose/depth detection stuff for controlnet

i could support unet/transformer, but i think its more useful to have text encoders and vae remote, compared to running text encoders and vae locally and running the generation remotely
plus i dont have the resources atm, generation is time consuming and from a service perspective its like gpu arbitrage
compared to text encoders and vae which are heavy on resources but very fast, that's the benefit for local users, you dont need the ram/vram to load them and save the offload time
but there's another use case of internal deployments for like art studios or something, for that it would make sense to support generation itself, the benefit for internal deployments is like cost saving, instead of buying a gpu for every workstation you can have a few gpus on a server and everyone shares it
other models i plan on supporting for public service are like clip/siglip image for ip adapter, controlnet depth, pose, etc. maybe upscaling like esrgan because thats quite heavy in pytorch but a lot lighter with honeyml
honeyml is what i'm calling my aitemplate fork now, it includes the diffusers_ait model implementations too, it's public already but i'm not actively supporting it for other people to use, if that makes sense, i will eventually
the zeromq system is not public yet, im not sure it will be because its unlikely any individual will want/need to deploy it themselves except for their own version of my service, and i wouldn't mind getting paid by companies for the internal deployment use case

FLUX uses:

A VAE decoder that requires several GB VRAM for workspace
To make it work locally, she:
Quantizes the transformer to FP8 (≈12GB VRAM)
Loads CLIP + T5, encodes prompt unloads both
Loads the transformer generates latent offloads to CPU
Loads VAE decodes image offloads again
This cycle repeats every prompt change, with long model loading overhead — and frequent crashes if the system runs low on RAM.

With Honey, Alice sends the prompt and gets back text embeds, after generation, she sends the latent and gets it back decoded. Flux's transformer stays loaded to GPU the entire time, generations can be continuous. Honey empowers Alice's creativity.

If you put in an ambiguous "glowing with" fag, the model will favor something that glows. This model likes glowing hands. Another model I use likes glowing hair. As for style and shading thats probably the model or the filler quality tags combined with the glowing tag. I don't usually use lighting tags as they more often than not generate worse results and never really do what you want them to.
