Zune, Windows 8 and Windows Phone was mocked for the flatshit design for years and the only reason it ever took off was because it was easier to scale on smaller devices like smartphones and tablets. Suddenly in 2012, Apple were hit was lawsuits pertaining to retards not being able to follow the maps app properly, licensing issues with the clock app icon, and then Scott Forstall, the software lead at that time was ousted from the company. Jony Ive took over, saw what these other companies were doing, and then decided it was best from a utilitarian perspective if they moved to flatshit. Tim just nodded his head like a good cuck and that was that. It would've never happened under Jobs, but realistically it would've had to happen in order for Apple to remain relevant in the smartphone industry. It was a great sacrifice for the sake of dumbasses and Apple's public image.
Now, all of the designers from Ive-era Apple are gone, Vision Pro is the next big tech leap for Apple and they're dying to finally escape this flatshit purgatory they've been stuck in for 12 whole years.
