What's really pathetic is that they priced the 50 series like it was some major technological advancement and not using the same years old mature node that has never been cheaper. So not only is the 50 series more expensive than the 40 series was, it's cheaper to make too. I can't imagine what 2nm for the 60 series is going to do unless Nvidia does the smart thing and finally abandons TSMC for Samsung like rumors suggest:

it looks pretty great in my opinion. most gpus look like they trying to be cool and tough, but its childish. this one looks pretty elegant and minimal but who knows whats on the backplate.
