No matter what you end up doing in the end, it will involve computers. You can't be a hog farmer without computers. If I were you I would understand everything there is to know about disk imaging, OS provisioning and deployment, backups, disaster recovery, cloud exporting/importing/migrating business data, disk crypto, secure boot, private secure boot key management (mok, etc), etc. Be an IT guy who fully understands Linux from the ground up.

I second this. It's true that when the LLM behind ChatGPT was reinforced during training to be an ass-kissing sycophant, the phenomenon isn't exclusive to AI. Politicians regularly engage in vague agreeable statements to gain as much of a perceived emotional connection with the supporters, therapists and psychoanalysts are trained to be agreeable in speech to make you feel less retarded about certain behaviors, etc.

What you have to understand about normalfags is that they're clinically retarded and society is designed to cater to them instead of people that can think. I'll give you a good example. 6 years ago I stopped carrying a cell phone. I switched back to a landline and I'm impossible to reach unless I'm at home. Half of the time I won't answer the phone at home either. I also deleted all social media accounts. This has brought a lot of peace and quiet into my life.

Normalfags in my life including family refuse to *get it*. The claim I'm rude because I don't answer the phone. When I point out that I no longer have a cell phone and haven't owned one in years at this point they refuse to believe me and accuse me of lying. Random faggots I see in public tell me they're angry that I don't accept their friend requests on facebook and that I deleted them. When I tell them I do not have an account and it's probably some bot FB is running that they're seeing they don't believe me.

I work in a field where I am considered pretty much the authority on the subject matter. People request I give presentations all of the time and I've written multiple books about it. The other day a normalfag attempted to argue with me about this field of study and refused to accept my opinion on the topic because I disagreed with them. Then they googled their question and tried to prove me wrong with the answer fed to them by the AI. When I pointed out the AI was only telling them what they wanted to hear and that it was wrong they got angry and called me a crazy person.

I am easy to find. All they have to do is knock on the front door. I live next door to multiple family members and friends. Instead they sit in their houses and stew because I won't respond to txt messages they're sending to a phone number I dropped 6 years ago. They're so lazy they refuse to walk the 20 yards to my house.

People are stupid and sadly most of these people are in our families.

At work, we released to prod and it broke everything despite everything working in all the lower environments. The DevOps guys had no real plan for stuff like this and we had to get in a call with all of them to figure out how are we gonna roll back with losing the least amount of data.
