I went to a conferencer about AI last week. You usual, not so tech savy, snake oil salesman praising AI as the second coming of Christ, specially remarking its uses for the average person, shit like replying to an email, learning how to put together a computer, or making a phone call, as if anyone with two working brain cells can't do this.
The guy also advocated for the teaching of AI in schools, even for very young kids.
And I'd like to remark the guy had very little technical knowledge, he said it himself, and I'm pretty sure it is safe to assume he has zero biological knowledge to judge how something like that could affect the development of a kid's brain.
Honestly this looks grim, and don't get me started on the schizo theories because if media wasn't bad enough already to manipulate people this is going to be a completely new level.

But everybody knows you need the right amount of struggle to grow. With better tools like LLMs or cubitron 2 abrasives, the teachers have to raise expectations but nobody taught them how.
