No, that's a tech magazine pointing out an interesting new search engine. That is the official purpose of venture capitalism.
You throw endless money into something. Remove the need to be profitable. The competition, that has that need, gets outplayed. Then once the competition is gone and the customer caught, you milk them.

"The internet" is not getting worse. Google is getting worse, and a few other major sites. That's it. You can just use alternative search engines (Marginalia, Wiby), forums, Neocities, etc and you'll be experiencing the old internet again. As a whole, the internet has never been better than it is now. There's everything you could possibly want, it's all up to you what your experience will be.

People who complain about capitalism, corporations, the Jews, etc are just parroting something they've heard other people say, without really asking if it's true or not. They're also not doing anything to fix what they perceive as the problem, such as running their own website or contributing to interesting projects. So their opinion is worthless.

The worst part of this is retards posting info on DISCORD. So everything is in its own small AIDS infested cesspool that can't be cataloged and indexed.

Or it's on Reddit, which has its own share of issues. I struggle to find info these days on websites if I don't specify specific domains. But what the fuck is the point of a search engine then? It's a glorified guru3d, level1techs or reddit searcher now.

Then I still have to corral it with search operators. I use literal searches more than I don't.

I've tried Kagi, same problems. Sears, same problems. I have to use chatgpt to comb through the literal slop, so I don't waste 20 minutes trying to find a small piece of trivial info. And guess what, chatgpt just makes shit up sometimes too! So I have to vet the LLMs source actually containing the info, then vet the info.

I've fallen back to reading books on subject matters now. But who knows how long that will last with retards using LLMs to write for them.
