Teams desktop is dogshit. Ruined tons of my interviews. Remove it from startup apps and use the web version

Try: taskkill /IM Teams* /F

This is a more forceful way to kill it, run from cmd. If you're doing it often, maybe stick it in a .bat file and put a shortcut on the desktop or start menu or something.

I don't want to defend winshit, but most the time, stuff like Teams freezing is because of shit like:
"exclusive audio control" which seems to be an elusively broken shit API that causes apps to block trying to get microphone input.
antivirus garbage blocking on critical windows APIs like clipboard controls and shit.

Again, not saying teams (the shitty app) isn't shit, but Teams has to live in a shitty world. Try the web version.
