Is it open source like framework? What about the modem? Is that opensource too?

Their fairbud earphones are actually great. Wish they just had an option to turn on longer range and api to customize button actions so we can code our apps to activate a certain button on podcast apps, like swipe up twice to fast forward, swipe down twice to rewind tap twice for x and so on. And they could use better speakers. They're not great for music, but they are GREAT for podcasts.. Also wish they had an option to buy an additional smaller case for them without the big battery as the case with the big battery takes up a lot of space in your pocket. Almost as wide as a phone. I would pay an extra $150 for the additional small case or a pill battery case for temporary outings and for better bass speakers. It's my favorite purchase of the year so far I use them every day. I would love to get the headphones, but if the speaker quality isn't like the ath headphones, I will probably not be spending it even though I love the concept of being able to change the batteries and speakers and everything.

Dude I would be happy if just the battery and the screen were easily removable and there was an SD card slot.
