Yes, I have a freshRSS LXC container set up in proxmox.

My problem in general is finding (and, unfortunately, filtering) articles based on my interests.

It's great for GitHub projects with releases that I consistently want to read changelogs on.

I also have a discord bot I wrote that posts news based on my own feeds that posts via web hook as opposed to pulling in XYZ "bot" to my discord. I'm under no illusion that Discord itself can't pry in, but at least third parties aren't scraping data wherever they want to.
