I have a 360hz monitor and unless I set it to 240hz I cannot use adaptive sync on auto or enabled without experiencing either flickering/frameskipping or the monitor blanking out.

Also artifacts

Its always a tradeoff, simpler ui = less upfront functionality.

aka, if I have a window with 100 buttons , that all do different things, vs a window with 10 buttons and 10 pages to access the same items, which is superior?, the first option is always going to be faster than the second one if the user is capable of handing it. the second option is going to be less confusing but requires more interaction.

frankly, i never experienced much krashing on plasma 5 either. just the early screenlocker breaking bugs which, funnily enough, plagued early plasma 6 even worse. the fact they even released such broken, unusable garbage was honestly shocking. anyway, my problem is really with all the minor bullshit k'bugs, those irk my autism to no end. 5.24 was roughly when they started to seriously stamp that shit out, and i would say 5.27 was nearly perfect. then everything went to shit again with plasma 6.

OLD BAD NEW GOOD
Footfags, windtoddlers, macfags absolutely grasping at straws that it's almost the perfect mixture of form and function.
As close as it gets to XP/Vista/7 today as far as UI goes.
>>105626286
What do you think looks good then?
Windows 11 is aight in its UWP bubble and the leftovers from 1993 onward are blended in reasonably well enough. It's too bad then it's all barely working jeetcode in perpetual beta since 2015 ooor maybe I'd use it. Maybe.
Don't try and mention Liquid Ass lmao.

If that happens, I'm taking KDE out behind the woodshed and shotgunning it.

Then installing XFCE begrudingly or whichever of the X's has redmond95.

Came here to post this. Glad you already did. Imagine boasting about new features while leaving your users vulnerable to potential malware in 3rd party themes hosted on your own fucking infrastructure that every deployed KDE desktop is pointing to. Like I seriously can't wrap my head around the kind of mentality that thinks this is okay. I would hang my head in absolute shame. How is this not a priority #1 bug? How are they releasing ANY updates before fixing their gaping fucking security holes? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?
