Picture should be 32GB on the left and 96GB on the right. 16GB isn't even enough to run Minesweeper in 2025.

I've had 16GB since I build my PC few years ago, I don't think I've ever ran into problems. I'm usually have a bunch of tabs open and just run music workstations running. I did consider upgrading, but I don't really see a purpose.

When I built my pc I got a set of 2x8gb ddr5 for free from new egg for buying the cpu there, so I just went with it and it's been fine for now.
The only problem I have is that I need to close Firefox when I want to game to free up space.
It seems to be fine running games, with steam client and discord in the background

Though it is 100% borderline. I cannot honestly recommend it for beginner users unless it was free.

64GB is dancing on the edge of obsolescence. It's essentially the poorfag cope choice, where it's clear you spent too much of your limited budget on RAM and still ended up behind the curve.

It's enough if you're willing to compromise in places, but it feels better to just get 32 and not give a fuck. At first I thought I'd only need it to host leaked server files for obscure gook MMOs, but then even regular new games started trying to devour all my RAM.

Digital photos are big and you typically edit them in a large batch. Even ~20 26mp photos being loaded into photoshop at the same time would cause probalems for a 32gb system.
