Normal enables gamma curve adjustments in photoshop but that's manual if you will.
The edited VAE looks like logarithmic but not quite because it's been burned in color value wise.

If cumrag had some extra nodes a simple gamma curve editing could be baked in every gen if needed.

prob cuz comfy weighing algorithm is different. it applies absolute values to all tokens instead of relative values. that makes the sampler more aggressive in text-image matching

Thing is that most of the time it is almost impossible to color correct normal image gens because they are so baked in anyway.
Gamma correction is very difficult.
In this sense such nodes are almost useless.
