Holy cow, i've followed the wan guide with the gguf optimized wan models. Now wan is so fucking fast! Had a BIG problem with Samplercustomadvanced and TRITON, (i have windows 11) but following this:

Some truth to this. It's the cfg 1. However, depending on what you're trying to make, combining loras or using VACE can circumvent this.

Surely theres a node or node setting that can replicate cfg 5 while staying at cfg1 but keeping all the new speeds?

Local textgen did improve on the same scale during 2023, now it's stagnating in the same way cloud textgen is. Ironically there's some potential in that diffusion llm approach but we're yet to see any models freely released.

I posted a catbox of it a few threads back if you want it. In my testing it did work better than putting a term in the standard negative. In noob vpred tifa is often given suspenders and the arm guard, normal negative is ok at removing these but NAG removed them almost every time in same seed comparison. Beyond specific targeted removal I couldn't see much of a difference. Putting the normal negative terms in NAG did give me a slightly different image but the 'quality' of the image was about the same.

Does the quality of the data affect learning speed when training loras? I tried some a while ago and it took quite long, in the meantime I spend soem time cleaning up the images, properly cropping and sizing them and now training feels like 10 times as fast.

Meant the Wan GGUF + Kijai LoRA extraction and T2V Wan, yeah. The FusionX model is just a bunch of LoRAs merged into the regular Wan model if you were using that.

I didn't really notice it either until messing around with FusionX the other day. Happens after around 5 gens in a row or if changing resolutions for one gen then reverting back to the previous resolution but this might just be an I2V problem.

Look, I wanted Krea to be as good as anybody else. In fact, I'm the one who linked the photoreal tweet. But I just don't think it's be as good as Chroma anymore. I expected the model to be perfect with hands, and that's clearly not the case. That being said, it is possible to get good hands, and Chroma is capable of that, but that is not the point. You can always go back and fix that right away, the point is that Krea, on top of being potentially worse than Chroma at correctness of hands and (likely really bad at feet), is censored. Chroma is not. Now, Krea would make a great artsy model, and there'd still be value from us getting the open weights, but in my eyes its perceived superiority over what we already have is diminished.

Flux is a distilled model, and a heavily biased towards slop while that. It is very "resistant" learning unique artstyles, I had a hard time training aesthetic loras on it. I haven't trained Chroma on that yet, perhaps it could be different.

Both models can and should use SLG so this is irrelevant for self forcing vs regular wan discussion. The problems is SLG doesn't make self forcing into a great model for high quality for a lot of things unlike it does for regular wan, although of course no video model is perfect.
Try that same i2v and prompt with self forcing and compare, it will be much, much worse.
