i rewatched it these days and my conclusion is that describing it as "pretentious" is a fair veredict.

it had a lot of potential but the show went to total shit after ep6 or so, shit like aliens, men in black and illuminati were put there only for the sake of sci-fi and dont contribute in nothing to the overall plot, that is an absolute mess a real mix of ideas throw together to look deep. its only grace was predicting that the ascending of the web would make people more distant and isolate them further.
