>>105646665>fixingFor 6 months, or 6 weeks, or something and could have achieved this heating the GPU die alone directly to minimize risk to the motherboard. Bump defects are not fixable at all, bumps are broken forever, you can only reseat the die back on them with an extreme heat cycle. To actually melt bumps takes fucking 350c.
>>105646704You sound like a repressed fag if anything that you have to assert your supposed heterosexuality this hard. That or you're simping for a pudgy average bitch. You're pathetic either way.
>>105648401>So what is the proper tool to apply pressure without burning your hands?Gravity.
Literally when the fuck have you seen someone reballing push down on a chip, if the balls were actually molten you'd just fuck your shit up real bad and have to start all over.
Reballing is NOT REPAIR in this case anyway, it's a different defect. But she even fucked up the wrong repair action.
It's a fucking DIA-001 board the last with a 90nm GPU and the second to remove any semblance of backwards compatibility. It's not worth wasting a 65nm or 40nm RSX on, get a later phat or a slim or a superslim and be done with it, same fucking thing.
>>105648489Haha I wish, I happen to have a proper B00 PS3 that needs its GPU replaced. Not from a bump defect, from a fucking delid fail. In my defense it did have visibly fucked paste under the IHS and was struggling to keep under 70c but in loading screens it suddenly dropped by 5c instantly.
