This is the superior way to read. I have gone through entire books using this method and it felt effortless. I use a Firefox extension to read articles but there have been many others that got abandoned over the years, one of them was called "Spritz" (offering 4chan gold to anyone who remembers it).

its basically like listening to audio at a point. because your eyes are not moving at all, this is good for eye muscle strain. and the feed is so instantaneous (and you do still parse it) that it feels like some matrix feed zapping into your brain.
i havent used the software in OP but i have used similar things before, and even dabbled in making my own thing. its interesting for sure.
