I am not a poojeet, so I don't replace my phone with desktop computer or laptop, my phone is only for mail, calls and sms.

Do you mean actual sms or rcs messages you have on the google messages application.
The only use of sms I have is for authentication purposes or when the post offices brings something and even then it's easier to check the website.

Moto G100.
Only use it to read hentai doujins, do online banking and do authenticator codes for work so has been great.
I'm only replacing it (with the new xperia 10 that's dropping in October) because Android 12 is going EOL for security updates.

a phone with an sd 778G+ and Adreno 642L. a phone can do hdr and record 4k but has a hardware decoder that completely shits itself on vp9 4k video and the cpu can't even handle 1440p av1.
this is what i get for not researching properly. at least it's very light

Redmi Note 10 Pro, Snapdragon 732G with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 512GB microsd. I'm running LineageOS 22.2 without gapps so CPU-X refused to run, you're getting Aida64 instead kek

Snapdragon 665 and 3GB RAM. More than fine for what I use it for. No reason to upgrade yet.

Unisoc SC9863A with 2GB ram. need to upgrade soon because if I open browser and then messenger, browser is likely to get killed off. single app perfomance is totally fine. even though phone cant handle video quality above 1080p30
