Modernizing the stack would take 5-7 years. I've got the complete source code. I'm working on it privately. Expect it to be done then.
This is my life's work and something I've wanted to do since I was 14. So yeah it will be done but it will take time. Full update to latest php, we're gonna fetch posts out of json to save us disk usage.
You know every time we post the server has to write the thread's HTML to disk? And so hiromoot spends a shit load of money on an expensive raid array instead of update the code?
Over 10k LOC in one file.
