Why the fuck blender v4.4.3 looks like this? I'm using windows 8.1 and their official page it says is compatible with my windows version. I didn't have such issue with autdodesk 3d max 2012
>why new software have compatibility issues with deprecated OS? Of course 3d max from 2012 wouldn't have problems with your 2012 OS Blender 4.4.3 launched in 2025, see the requirements, what gpu do you even haven?
>>105667923 Well you should be just well within the bare minimum requirements, why don't you try to update your video drivers? If not then just update to 10 already
>>105667908 i still having the same issue. I tried with older versions like blender-2.60 and seems works but when i tried to open a blender file the whole mesh was fucked up
>>105667988 >why don't you try to update your video drivers? device manager it says that both AM Radeon R5 M230 AMD Radeon(TM) R5 Graphics are already updated.
>If not then just update to 10 already
But Blender download page literally it says "Compatible with Windows 11, 10, and 8.1"...
>>105668042 No you dumb anime poster, go to the AMD site and download the drivers manually, 8.1 is deprecated by now so you won't be getting drivers from windows
>>105668042 You have two different graphics adapters. One is the integrated graphics in the cpu and the other one is a dedicated graphics chip. Try using the other one for vlender
>>105668042 >i still having the same issue. I tried with older versions like blender-2.60 and seems works but when i tried to open a blender file the whole mesh was fucked up It might be a locale issue. Are you using EN_US or moonrunes from the Orient?
when you install linux use these flags radeon.si_support=0 amdgpu.si_support=1 radeon.cik_support=0 amdgpu.cik_support=1 https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AMDGPU
>>105667889 (OP) download amd's windows 7 drivers, run the setup and close it, then install the drivers via device manager. windows is pretty backwards compatible with vista and newer drivers and the windows 7 drivers got far more updates than 8.1.
>>105667889 (OP) Either your graphics driver or GPU is fucked. >>105667923 You don't do that in software. Do you currently know whether or not your monitor(s) are plugged into your GPU or into your motherboard? You can tell by seeing if your monitor connectors are leading to the slot space near the bottom of your case or if they're up top with the USB ports and audio jacks. Swap wherever they're connected and see if the problem goes away.
>>105668381 >Either your graphics driver or GPU is fucked. if so why i don't have this same issue with any other similar programs, like autodesk 3d max?
>>105668439 stop being so damn cute. to answer your question, blender is just raped like that. try an older version. like one released within the past year or two. your twink of a gpu can't handle it.
>>105668481 Well, yes, because you tried to open the mesh on a newer version. Either redo your work on the older one, or try to figure out why the newer version won't run,.
