I WANTED to want more. Turns out I don't.
You know spending years working and not really buying anything I felt like it was "wrong". Started buying stuff and it only gathers dust.
You probably don't need to fix anything.
For tech specifically I have to say the biggest issue is that whenever I feel like I want something for use I browse and find everything just sucks.
You can't buy a new computer that wont have at least SOME issues you have to deal with at some point.
Most stuff is expensive and full of defects and no support.
Most new tech is also absolutely proprietary~ which is fine until they shut down the servers...
Buying shit that LASTS is impossible even in the multi thousand $$ ranges.
Want a new phone? Billion options, even the most expensive ones being hot garbage shovelware filled with spyware and shit you don't need, known defects, overheating or shit battery.
The company even if promises software support will just shit out 20 devices a year and "forget" about it.
Computers? LMAO I've never hated PC building and the parts market so much as I've hated it since 2019~
Want a new printer that doesn't need a blood donation every month and can print discs and whatever you need? Forget it.
Peripherals are even worse. Super expensive stuff sucks just as much as the cheap Chinese crap and replacement parts are not a thing for anything anymore.
Everything is trying to be a service.
