Tried Zen Browser this weekend. Was nice for 5 seconds until I learned that they refuse to implement horizontal tabs, and uninstalled it. Can't seem to find something better than Ungoogled Chromium unfortunately. Maybe I'll hop around a little more in the future, but UG has worked fine for me the past 6 months. Which is sad considering I would prefer to not use Chromium if possible.

I used Brave a little bit when it was independent and not based on chromium. You could open a private tab instead of whole new window, it had great potential. But it became too bloated with too much controversy and very shady business model for my liking.
If people like Brave for their out-of-the-box adblock, or UI, by all means keep using. But in the end of the day you are not doing anything for your privacy, you are just shifting the trust from Google Inc. to Brave Inc.

I ditched Floorp for Zen, specifically Zen Twlight. It's pretty cool if you want veritcal tabs, since Arc is dead and gay for requiring an account, it just builds on that but without being a shitty data harvesting source for a meme company.
