A few years ago I was browsing the mature adult site for people without mothers when I saw a known child pr0n image (the step daughter of the "the consequences will never be the same" guy). The upload date was from something like ten years previous so it had been on that site, which claims to have nothing illegal, for about a decade. How many people downloaded it without knowing her age or that it was an illegal image?
I did report it to their admins but even then it took about a month for it to be removed. Make me wonder how many other illegal images are on those sites and how many people have downloaded some without knowing the age of those in the image. What about other sites? What about /s/ and /gif/? Are you sure every image on those boards are legal? Seven or seventeen, the legal status is the same for pr0n. Maybe almost everyone who saves images to their computer is guilty because there are so many images that aren't know to be illegal except by law enforcement.
