So I just noticed that IrfanView has an OCR plugin. Are there any other cool plugins that I should know about? Not necessarily for IrfanView, if you prefer a different image viewer that's fine too.

List of plugins:

You need a third party executable from communist Germany to utilize both OCR plugins, so no thanks.

The PowerToys OCR is almost unusable, it's that bad. Maybe it's made for pictures exclusively and I'm using it wrong, but whenever I tried it on text on a page (webpage or document) it gave back a lot of gibberish.

I've gotten a lot of use out of the shell extension plug-in, it gives you a right click menu that lets you do stuff like convert webp files to jpg directly from the file open dialog

It's not a plugin but the batch renamer/resizer is pretty powerful and very useful when dealing with large collections.
