Redpill me on .webp files
I used Caesium on W10 to convert some JPG comic book scans to WEBP with quality set at 90 and I have an average of 70% size reduction. Chatgpt and Grok cannot shut up about how great webp is, especially for this particular use case. What is your experience?

was annoying to deal with during the teething period of fucking nothing supporting it but it's fine now
HEIC is still the best format, however. shame only apple devices use it

transcoding always loses quality. What you did is retarded, unless it was done only for test purposes.
