- Extremely high compensation package, which makes living in NYC a lot of fun and owning a place possible. The benefits are also top of the line.
- Smart co-workers. I've learned more in four years from these guys than I did in my 10-year career and education.
- Permanent remote work. The firm has a "strict" RTO policy, but it's only for traders; management knows if it implements a similar policy to Software, it'd lose a lot of valuable talent. Goofing off, like I'm doing now, at home, isn't possible at the office.
- Programming in OCaml.
>Worst- Dealing with egomaniacal managers.
- Clients, mostly traders, are retarded when it comes to using the software and requesting features. Sometimes we wish they'd stick with the Bloomberg Terminal; all the Wall Street normies use that anyway.
- "Work hard, play hard" environment. Mostly for the traders, but we're encouraged to befriend them because they're our partners, so, sometimes, we party with them, and they're shit shows. The stories are too wild to publish.
