I guess but at the start it was different enough to warrant its existence. Today if we take stock android as it comes preloaded, no modding, no custom roms, use it like a normalfag would, its just discount iOS with none of the advantages and some downsides.
And when you take Samsung or any 3rd parties they just get even worse.
I say this as someone who dislikes apple and never had or would consider using their stuff but if I absolutely needed a normalfag phone, I dont see the selling point of android. Idk why android suicided by catering to an audience that will never take it seriously just like Firefox while abandoning the only ones who cared about them.
and even as a power user iOS has some nice advantages like automatic local PC sync and full local backups, my Nokia could do that even, still hate lack of that after like 13+years of android, here its all gay google cloud shit or some clunky manual trash.
Also I'll never have a google account, especially when they ban you for no reason and hold your shit hostage until you send them ID, I haven't heard of apple doing that or their users are so buckbroken they don't even complain about it.
I'm just over modern smartphone. Idc about online services but if I did I'm saying googles is horrible (probably contributes to the reason I hate all of them) apples at least on paper and from afar seems more usable.
Copying iOS killed Android and its a shame in my opinion they went this route.
