I can upload it if you want, but the text area widget is a little buggy (or I am using it wrong)
And also you will need your own program for posting, it is a minimal client and you have to specify external program to do the posting for you. Here is how I have it configured.

I have a daemon running in the background. When it is started it opens a browser window, I click get captcha and solve cloudflare challenge, then I extract the cookies from the browser program and I hope that I never get a HCaptcha popup.
Then I have a small utility process that connects to the daemon and enqueues the post there.
Surely there are better solutions but it works for me

Yes, but I am not sure how well they work on 4chan. Here for example I have shortcuts to jump to next and previous posts, and jump to the end (I also plan to add more)
And I can quote posts by selecting text too. That is why I made it. Also using tui you cannot post and I just figured out that it is, at least for me, more efficient to post like this.

Allow people to hide all posts except for posts that:
- an answer to op-post
- not an answer to anything
- have an image
So it basically hides bots, shills, and arguing with bots and shills and overall lazy bot posts.
If you do that, it's easily the best client that beats any 4chan client or userscript or extension.
The most fundamental problem on the internet today is content filtering, and it's easily solvable when the thread page and catalog are static. Twitter or Youtube will never be able to achieve convenience of an imageboard(unless the imageboard engine in question is too gae).

Three letter agencies would hate you for making browsing a breeze here though, your program will allow like 0.01% of anons to enjoy 4chan for probably years to come, because the overall percentage of users is too small to bother with upgrading bots, besides they are targeting newfags anyway not people.

almost no chain is interesting today unless you are new friend or a federal agent, or a shill, or a bot. glowniggers will allow you to filter threads, but they wont allow you to get the actual information out of a thread easily.
besides since posts that contain images within the chain wont get hidden, you will quickly see for yourself thats its a part of some boring read in at least 99% of the cases, not something you ever needed to read.
like 3 and a half anons will use op client in this case anyway, so why bother about your interesting chains
using llm to evaluate is what a federal agent would lobby for

Regarding filters: if you go with filtering chains, maybe make an exception for posts with more than 1000 characters for the rare effort post without an image that may be buried in it. The vast majority of impulsive trash and other clutter doesn't even get past a singular line. Obviously with an extra checkbox in case AI shitposts become too prolific.

I'd much appreciate if you drop a project git or another rallying point before the thread 404s because monitoring /g/ is incredibly tedious and I might miss follow-ups.

Grand, bookmarked for better times in my personal attention economy. Thanks for pointing me to it.
A resulting further thought on filters: hyperlinks could be another item to preserve in post chains regardless of image/reply state.
Cool project, hope you keep enjoying it.

It'd be more useful to just present all images at once alongside the text. You can implement some kind of paging feature to only show initially what fits in the terminal and then give options to page more or return

No need to update them, just print a new page each time you need to change the view. The previous content you can turn scroll back even, if needed.

I think the only way to post from Tor is using the pass.
But that's only useful if you can somehow pay for said pass with a payment method that can't be traced back to you.
I don't know how you would do that though. I know crypto can be anonymous, but I don't know how to use that safely
