That kinda sucks, I guess? The SD 8s Gen 3 is slightly more powerful than the 7+ Gen 3, so that's probably worth going for the newer phone despite the lesser build quality.
Assuming the Nord 5 launches at the same price as the 4, of course. The 4 will remain better value if the 5 launches at 100 euro more than the 4's current price.

Most phones need to be smaller. There's a reason base iPhones and Galaxies are still 6.1-6.3 inches - that's the ideal sweet spot. Midrangers going straight up to 6.6 inches and higher is retarded. The most popular phone in the world is the basic iPhone which to this day is 6.1 inches, far smaller than even the cheapest chinkshit you can buy for 100 bucks. It just makes sense.

i was previously on lineageos 20, just updated to 22.2.
All my apps are gone, all my contacts and message history, it's like a stock phone now - though, a few basic settings and my wallpaper carried over.
Also, "bluetooth" keeps on crashing apparently, and when I try to flip it on in the drop-down menu, the entire phone crashes.
What the hell happened? Is there anything I can restore, or a way I can revert back? At the very least is there a way to fix the stupid bluetooth thing?

Man these LineageOS guys are the least helpful people I've ever seen.

O2 will pay off that loan and let you swap to a new phone every 90 days for an extra tenner a month if you keep it in refurbishable condition. I've only kept with the Fold 5 for this long because the Fold 6 was a genuine downgrade.

Is there any reason why the GrapheneOS devs are so hostile and complete pricks to every other open source project? I mean seriously. They have beef with essentially everyone at this point. Some of them are working on this Accrescent project right now. It's been months since they started working on it and it's still the most barebobes pos you've ever seen. (Which you can self sign on F-Droid if you run your own repo.) But then if you have support for multiple repos then people will be able to bypass corporate MDM restrictions! Anything below 150, arguably 200-250, is borderline e-waste. Don't bother. For 80 euro I'd rather get a used iPhone SE2020 than a brand new ultrachink piece of shit like that Honor or a Poco C75 and similar garbage.
Around 150 euro you can get a Galaxy A15 4G or A16 4G (same phone) which is a proper usable phone, if you're very humble with what you do on your phone. Nothing special, but with a full HD OLED screen and enough processing power to load apps not terribly slowly.

Also the A16 4G is still pretty weak and slow even today, so it might not age as well as your Honor 8 did. Like, it has the same amount of RAM as your Honor 8 from nearly a decade ago. That's how budget-y it is.
Something more expensive like other Samsung A-series offerings might have more longevity, but those get more expensive and you clearly don't need much from a phone, so it's up to you in the end.
My grandmother uses an A15 4G and I can vouch for it. Great budget device for light users. Lasts 3-5 days on a single charge, opens her banking app just fine, lets her shop on chinese dropshipper websites for clothes, scrolls Facebook fine, sends texts, the usual.
