I think this is literally impossible for the model to not change the whole image, you know why? because the model puts your image into a latent with a vae and then decode your image with the vae, and that encoding/decoding process is far from lossless, it'll always change something from your image, as long as we'll be using VAEs on our diffusion models, we'll never get to get a perfect pixel restoration, that's my 2 cents

what kind of prompt would I use to get two characters in the same picture where one has cat ears and the other doesn't? I'm not interested in regional prompting or some convoluted method. I've been able to get characters with different eye/hair color and different proportions easily by just using alternate X color or alternate X size easily but alternate ears doesn't work

i will not share the workflow instead i will give some hints because really its like the solution which they hate ok. it was not until really that the speed up lora's hit that we (we was already close) could really test it at 720p and within reasonable time. because your video took 50 minutes? yes you said that and yes i've been there before its not feasible to test the model with such long gen times. so the speed up loras allowed us to really test and perfect things.

i am getting so sleepy now, you know what that means, you are never meant to just know. go with the speed up lora's and also nag take it from there, do not be scared to replace iv2 with t2v as nessary to your project. i2v requires 100% de-noise to work t2v does not, there is a clue there. but do not take that are a literal i've done extensive testing so i did go down that route and i would say stick to 100% de-noise.

lora's work at different strengths when using so called speed up lora's some require about 1.5 others 0.5 its not linear at all.

consider the models actual spec, vace is used for video editing like this kontext you see however it does not mean it can't be used in some creative way outside of its stated use case.

lastly speed up lora's can also have their strengths played with, swap and change them a lot and test test test test you will find it.
