Is there any archival effort for tracker comment sections? I was still retarded during WCD's time but I've seen many on RED/OPS lamenting at the loss of the comments under its album pages and the value they provided in comparing the different masters/editions.

Regarding point 1 staff would probably be concerned over leaking content of the "private" tracker externally, however trivial, so maybe approval could be gotten for site archive torrents to be seeded on-site only. Or something of the sort anyway, I'm spitballing here.

KG for example is always looking for people who do fansubbing, they get invited easily. If they do several subs for the tracker they usually get VIP rank, and the movie which get the subs done get bumped and also appear in the frontpage where the latests subs were posted.
In PTP I could make the subs for a film and literally no one would notice, it doesn't get any bump, nor do I get any benefit for making them, beside some upload which it isn't needed because the tracker is already freeleech.

PTP's slots sometimes have a worse encode, especially if HDB's is exclusive. But for newer sources sometimes it has a better one. HDB encoders are the most prolific but there are some good ones now that just upload to PTP. I don't need bloat especially if there isn't going to be a significant improvement over the encode. WEB-DL stuff just isn't good enough for me, but I plan to mainly grab those for streaming to friends/family on jellyfin.

Did you use a tracker before BTN? That's what I use as my primary with automatic cross-seeding to every other tracker besides IPT, TL, AR.

My priority is usually my top 3 mid tier trackers at priority 1, followed by my second pick mid tiers with priority 15, followed by everything else at 25.

Sometimes I get BTN grabs, sometimes I don't. But you might as well take advantage of the buffer you already gained from other trackers + cross-seeding.

Someone I know wants the entirety of a tv series with 10+ seasons of 20+ 45min ep/seasons in some format that they could play back easily. I want to burn to blu ray...but I don't have a set4lyf tv tracker (or enough space to store even the smallest torrentleech boxset), and bdisos aren't on usenet (at least not on entry level usenet).
