>>105723925 (OP)any normal person should have around 10TB of stored content.
movies, musics, books, photos, videos, porn, hentai, old software, whatever, it does not fucking matter.
nothing is eternal on the internet, I don't understand why retards still believe that "the internet never forget" it could not be further away from the truth.
i've been in the internet for around 25 years (i'm 31), I've seen the fall of personal blogs, flash games, video hosting platforms that aren't youtube, etc.
most of this content has disappeared forever, lots of memories, gone.
I still think atleast once a month about my lost wow screenshots/videos from 2006, my 2004 gmail account that I deleted in 2010, my cod4 promod videos and my cs1.6 demo files that I never copied to a new pc, lost forever because I was fucking moron and did not care about preserving anything.
people should fucking hoard what is dear to them because it WILL disappear and they WILL want to see it again for old time sake or to show their kids aznd they WILL be sad if they can't find them anymore.
a nas + offsite backup is cheap if you think about the cost of losing everything you've been through.
backup your data, people
