Honestly, advertising through "piracy" os probably one of the best business models for software. Regular people won't buy it of course, it's too passice and easy to just use it anyway.
But, a company/corporation knows it's good/popular software, and will pay through the nose to legally cover their ass to use it.

Does 7zip normally not have icons? I remember it having icons on my old windows machine but once I installed it on win10, I just get a shitty zipped up folder icon. I always thought something broke or something.
