False equivalence. A wheel is a tool that can help humans perform a number of tasks. AI can potentially replace humans themselves, no matter the task.

I can suggest an equation that has the potential to impact the future:

E = mc2 + AI

This equation combines Einstein's famous equation E = mc2, which relates energy (E) to mass (m) and the speed of light (c), with the addition of AI (Artificial Intelligence). By including AI in the equation, it symbolizes the increasing role of artificial intelligence in shaping and transforming our future. This equation highlights the potential for AI to unlock new forms of energy, enhance scientific discoveries, and revolutionize various fields such as healthcare, transportation, and technology.

True, a wheel that allowed easier transport is definitely nowhere near literally inventing something that can do almost all of the cognitive tasks of literal human brains and many more we could never.

LLM's is the most cancerous thing I saw in computers all my life.

For one, it is only really available to people with a ton of money, basically only big corporations can afford to churn enough compute to make one. Only the rich corps will ever be able to make them, and they will prebake them with all sorts of shit we hate in computing. There will be no open source models due to the investment required. The age of the computer enthusiast making something cool on the computer is gone.

Two, with the giant models being so expensive to run and maintain, and with everyone eventually wanting to access them, this will finalize the big corporations' long-awaited dream: computers being basically just terminals to access their infrastructure remotely.

This will literally kill computers as I've known and loved them all my life, and I hate this technology for it.

I don't fully remember it and I read it years ago, but it wasn't that a wagon was introduced but that it was a better wagon with higher capacities, which would've led to less hauliers being needed to transport grain across the Mediterranean. However, since I can't find any evidence this ever happened, I probably hallucinated it.

the day we get auto-soldiers war will become obsolete
not only bc of the lesser cost in human lives
but also because of the pointlessness of it:
good luck bombing a factory 1 km under the ground that churns out auto-soldiers and self maintains with automatons it produces itself

you would destroy the earth before getting to such a factory
but then what are you figtin for, to begin with, if nothing will remain once youre finished?

god willing i will create that technology

I don't get why people think this still after all the drone warfare footage.
As the second anon says, people will be made at gunpoint to walk into the meat grinder and die even faster than they do now.
How is this a good thing exactly?
AI also turned up the useless eater narrative quite a few notches. Now even most /g/tards are on the chopping block.
Not trying to be a luddite here, but it's clear that it is over for most of us.

I agree.
I also think the reason why the elites are pushing for AI art and burning literally billions in making it is because they want to get rid of human artists so the average guy in 2050 will consume literally AI generated tiktoks of nonsense before going to his job of plumbing.

And after the elites roll out the plumbing robot he will literally be out of the job. I think making a plumbing robot is easier then making a AI who generates pictures and videos however they want the retarded low class workers to be a free propagandist for them since now you are not only debating chatGPT shill bots you are also facing the retarded plumber who says
>Lern to plumb
Not understanding that his job is even easier to automate.
Because the retard is to retarded to understand what is going on. Not that the new AI generated media will tell him to oppose corporations. Unlike old movies who did have mega corporations as the enemy like Fortress or Aliens.

I also think this is why they literally put a halt on autonomous vehicles. It is obvious the tech works and only needs some years to get basically human level perfect however throwing everyone into the unemployment office would trigger things. They will come for the most intelligent ones first.

>I think making a plumbing robot is easier then making a AI who generates pictures and videos
>Not understanding that his job is even easier to automate.
Are you young or just highly specialized in some tech sector?
I don't wish to sound hostile, but this is extremely naive.
The reason jobs like trucking and trades like electricians/plumbers/HVAC/whatever you call the gas one in English, gas fitter(?) are NOT going to be automated anytime soon is because that is simply not possible.

AI isn't magic, it's not even all that great. Tradesman have to deal with 100+ year old infrastructure and random shit DAILY. Standards have changed and they have changed OFTEN.
Buildings don't have exact layout plans for everything that are miraculously correct after 20 renovations over the past hundred years of an office building. Concrete doesn't break the same way each time either.
Unexpected outcomes are what you expect and correct for all the time.
This is not something a pattern recognition machine can simply solve.

Nothing is standardized out there to the degree autists imagine.
The only way AI could EVER replace those jobs if the world collectively decided and agreed on standards and rebuilt literally all infrastructure ever made to suit the AI robots.

>I also think this is why they literally put a halt on autonomous vehicles.
Now consider what I wrote and you might realize that it is quite a bit easier to build trams and railways than cars that can recognize every random shit that you need in a real world.
There is a reason why self driving shit is works best on precise and predictable paths and why especially the Tesla image recognition based one is so dogshit in real world scenarios.

Basically anything that can be described precisely enough and doesn't need much adaptation is easily replaced. This is why codefags should be shitting themselves more than most.
For megacorps it's easy to shift infrastructure to be AI compatible. Reality isn't.

LOL.
>There is a reason why self driving shit is
I remember self driving being better years ago. They rolled it back and decided to tank it for the exact reasons I have provided.

>Tradesman have to deal with 100+ year
You are a retard, and they want you retards to be free spokes people for them. You know nothing yet you will talk shit.
>Tradesman have to deal with 100+ year
Can someone post that webm of that house cleaning robot? I did not save it. Do you seriously think fitting pipe A into hole B is some impossible task? If they did put even 0.00001% of the money and time they are feeding into image and video generating AI into this task it be operational and replacing you in 10 years.

>Standards have changed and they have changed OFTEN.
They are standardized parts. Even if there are 1000s of them it is trivial to feed all of them into a computer. That is not even an AI simply a database of parts.
You are a joke.

The reason why they are coming for the most intelligent ones first is because they realized having you retards fight and defend them until your end is the best option.
The DELIBERATELY sabotaged and degraded self driving cars.
Self driving cars used to be a billion times better in ~2015 then they are now.

They deliberately are holding back and not developing work robots.
The ones who did see what was possible back in the day know.

Fun fact AI literally can not do anything new.
AI will never make new energy.
AI is literally a neural network made crazy with stolen reddit posts nothing more.
Even if it was some SF magical computer brain person there is nothing left.

The shortest line between 2 points is a straight line. And we literally mastered everything.
The retarded AI can come up with
>Herp depr if you remove all these mountains and cut this city in half the trains on the straight line will arrive 9% faster!
Not understanding the displacement of people and costs of all this are the reason why it is not a straight line.

Every other inefficiency is intended.
Apple wants its iPhones to break and spends extra money to make incredibly difficult to replace parts, this makes them more money.
Some AI or reddit posts in a neural network can go
>Oh look all these individual DRM chips for the pones cable to the computer needs to be removed this is inefficient
Not understanding that apple wants this because it makes them more money. Every other hypothetical is not understanding that the other mega corporation is doing apples shit in a different sector, planned obsolescence is a thing!

Absolutely braindead post.
Every pipe and wiring is out in the open right? You just need to unscrew the bad pipe and screw in the good pipe right? Lmao.
Absolute retard.

I'm sure the next rocket launch will get us to mars in two more weeks.

Not worth further engagement.

copyright laws are corporate garbage and should not exist in their current form, small artists almost never benefit from them while the elites use it to cull competition and create monopolies.
