We need an alternative to freedesktop org to set new standards for a stable platform target based on Xlibre. Otherwise we will always be tied to redhat X11.
Once the dust settles we need something new for desktop IPC, DBUS actually gave me PTSD. The documentation on freedesktop is so poorly written and I spent days having my whole desktop crash trying to get an interface working. This is probably behind the notorious KDE crashes, because GNOME works directly with redhat and has access to the esoteric knowledge. I've never had to deal with such an over engineered poorly written IPC before.

This is because the latest release of xorg server is missing updates from master branch over 2 years ago. This ABI issue applies to latest xorg server, not just xlibre.
