did some upscale testing so you don't have to.
basegen: dpmpp_2m, beta, 20 steps, chroma v40 cfg3 q8 gguf from silveroxides.
the upscaling was done with ult sd upscale, x1.5, 4 tiles, 192 tile padding.
first attempt with the same sampler looked like shit so I switched to euler/beta.
take one: 0.3 denoise, 10 steps (the image is SAFE for work)

take two: 0.35 denoise, 10 steps

You don't need a ton of data to make loras, and there's a ton of places where it's easy to scrape on the web, large image sites like Flickr, Tumblr, all the image porn sites, all the *booru* etc.

There's MORE than enough, ai captioning can always be improved though. And Lora aren't particularly hardware demanding, you can train Flux loras on 12gb vram.

I'm not the one who can't even source 50 real images. Also "slop" is matters if you don't cherry pick and aren't discerning with your synthetic images. Both Wan and Flux can make a Lora with even 10 real images which is enough to boost to build variety as needed. It's even easier when you already have some generalized Loras that boost general model capabilities.

Which of the NAG implementation work with the cfg1 Chroma? Shit keeps throwing me errors.

i merged the beta model and the latest raw one with a 0.5 weighted sum in comfy. i vaguely recall reading a paper that mentioned this method of merging a raw and tuned version of a model as a good way to stabilize it

Are there any decent prompt enhancers out there?
Use case is that I have comfy running for a group of friends and, frankly, they suck at prompting.
I don't care if it's within comfy or if I need to pipe it through an LLM first, as long as it delivers somewhat decent prompts. I got it kinda locked down for flux/chroma since that's rather easy for most LLMs, but danbooru-like tag lists kinda suck with Deepseek, for example.

I have had very satisfactory results using SDXL to upscale chroma painting/anime/cartoon outputs too. the workflow is dead simple too, no tiling needed.

Lowering humidity does help. I've got a dehumidifier running basically 24/7 in my room and it stops me from sweating too hard. It does raise the temperature though, like 3 to 4C compared to outside sometimes but I don't want mould so I can't turn it off.

I think ultimately if you're training Kontext the goal is to add commands and simplify workflows and create more consistent concepts. I haven't tried without controls but I imagine you'll always want to "train" the prompt directions.
