Useless shit. Because of how popular it got, retards kept opening shitty issues. Is Vaxry really supposed to answer issues like, "HAAAALP I CANNOT USE HYPRPICKER ON GNOME!!". Yes GNOMEfags come into Hyprland issue trackers and make these kinds of issues

>add donation notification on boot
Vaxry made a better Wayland compositor than the entirety of GNOME + Red Hat trannies and KDE jeets. Yeah, I donate money to him and I'm proud of it. This is how FOSS works. Vaxry is the good guy, GNOME is fucking evil. I support the good guys by donating them money.

>add subscription model
So? This was done for lazy faggots who want a pre-riced setup and handholding to setup Hyprland. Nothing is being locked behind the "subscription model". Everything is still FOSS. What are you even crying about? That Vaxry is starting a sekret club and you want to be a part of it but you can't because you are a poorfag? Seriously?

>add opt-out update checker (not telemetry, trust me)
Point out the code which includes telemetry, jackass. It's all open. Even a poorfag like you can read it anytime you want, for free. Where is the telemety? What telemetry? Answer me you dipshit.

>now as bloated as a DE
But not as bloated as your body, you fucking fatass. Go use your dwm or whatever and brag about "muh minimalism". Just leave us Hyprland GIGACHADS alone.

Hyprland is the hope of desktop linux. It is the light in the darkness. Vaxry is the only person who had the balls to stand up to the GNOME and Freedesktop trannies and he fucking WON. Unlike you Xlibre faggots, Hyprland is NOT treated like a joke in the FOSS community.

That's what the ideal DE is.

I think he should even do better than that, slap a commercial license on a new version and make people pay for it.
It's the biggest problem with open source is devs who've never faced real market pressure building garbage.
When someone's never had to prove their shit is worth actual money, their opinions are worthless. Payment is the ultimate validation.

Actually, it would be fun to see a breakdown of Plex users after the happening, who are the power users, who actually paid vs who just whines about everything.

Fuck you communists.

Much of the shit made in the world is not worth anything, it's mostly copies of other commercial or open source software sold to people who don't know better and just pick whatever the search engine says. Selling isn't about being the best, it's about psychological manipulation and being first in someone's mind. This makes the consumer market is horribly inefficient and chock full of garbage products, if you think usefulness/$ averages. Predictive markets are collaborative and under rational tension, consumer markets are atomized and mostly driven by feelings

but kde doesn't have stable version
from what I saw on github, Valve just picks some version for steam deck and stays on it while fixing bugs that are found on it. New KDE versions always introduce stupid bugs.

They just need official LTS and talk with valve to adopt it for steam deck, which means that everyone will be getting fixes because valve will definitely be fixing the most annoying bugs.
