Jsx is the html syntax not the inner javascript which the {} is surrounding.

I've learned a little bit of javascript, I'm not great though I usually use jeet languages. But react's nothing too complex, it's just nesting components. I really just needed to learn the general syntax, how it was laid out and how components were assigned to the screen. I'm used to dragging and dropping in winforms or writing it procedurally with something like XAML.

Lads, I got my job by lying my ass off on my resume. I researched the company and found out what systems they used, did a half hour youtube tutorial on all of them, threw them on my resume to make myself seem like the perfect candidate, got to the interview and did my best and got the job. No joke one of them was a PHP exercise and I didn't know it at all, but it was similar enough to XML/HTML that I just fucking guessed my way through it.

When I interview I'm not really looking for 10/10 1337 technicians, I'm looking for resourcefulness and drive because that's what actually matters in the job. If I were to hire someone who knew everything from day 1 that'd be like hiring some kind of unicorn. It's just not going to happen and every company is different.

Lie - We need X many of Y. Oh you have that. Of course you do. Believe me nobody has the time to call your past companies and check. I barely have time to shit most days. The hell am I calling your past companies and getting through the phone tree to whoever my contemporary is (who is probably also rushed off his ass and doesn't have time to answer stupid questions from non-affiliated companies) and ask them questions about you. Research - what the company does, what services it provides, it's financial reports.

Definitely not true, but they are starting to become sparse and require crazy amounts of knowledge. It's more like networking is becoming part of devops and sysadmin duties and more of a generalist role. There are still dedicated network fags in large companies with on prem shit, and there has been a recent rebalancing back towards on prem because cloud didn't quite deliver what was promised. But it's still losing more jobs than being created (just look at the labor stats) and the barrier to entry is fucking massive unless you get lucky.
