How do they manage to block them? Can’t you use residential proxies as well?

A few years ago, they showed up regularly on /tv/. I assumed he got caught or bored, or more likely it was just a honeypot.

For maybe the first 7-8 years or so of browsing this website I never saw any CP, even during my years on /b/, then at some point I just started seeing it semi-frequently. I think it's just the time and the boards/threads I browsed changed to overlap with CP spammers. Seems like it is usually asshurt schizos on /v/ or /vg/ that spam 'p. The first time I saw 'p was in a /pol/ sticky, though.
Mods are generally pretty quick about taking it down.
To clarify I'm talking about actual CSAM and not loli, a lot of normalfags act like those are equivalent for some reason.

Gore still gets posted very frequently, even more frequently since there's tons of it coming from the Ukraine war. It's just usually limited to boards where gore is allowed to be posted.

It has died down a lot from what it used to be. cp production is much lower than in the past (excluding self-exploitation by minors which has gone up), it's not as easy to find as just typing the right keywords into Google anymore.
