Then he expropriated the lands because "farmers are evil" and they accepted, then when shit he wrong he simply went "it's the previous government's/the USA's" fault and they believed him. Slowly, he changed laws and government institutions to suit his needs. For instance, he introduced a law that cut working hours from 8 hours per day to 7 hours per day which was massively popular. Except that law also removed the term limit for presidents and increased each term from 4 to 5 years.

The USA has simply fallen for a charismatic populist leader who is fucking up shit. And the MIGAtards will continue to support whatever he does, no matter how stupid or counterproductive it is.
